I requested a quote on line and got a response very quickly. The next morning Hubert arrived to give me an estimate to repair cracks and chips on my garage floor and then applying a 4 coat epoxy coating. His price was fair & within days he was able to start the job. Hubert & his workers were timely ,very friendly and courteous until the job was complete. I am very satisfied and the floor looks great! Hubert was extremely efficient from the moment we contacted his company regarding a quote , he came the next day for a site inspection at 730 am on a Saturday morning. He priced the work within 12 hours and his quote was more than fair yet we worked with Hubert as he seemed to give off that complete air of trust , professionalism , work ethic and he was also local to us to that was comfortable. The crew was very polite , extremely clean and the work was very , very good . Hubert was in constant contact when there were a couple of set backs with cold weather and traffic holding up the concrete delivery. His communication skills are second to none and integral to keeping all in the loop. In fact we just this week hired Toronto Concrete to return in a few weeks to do another contract to surface the basement with an epoxy product. My garage floor was cracked and sank more than 4 - 6 inches in few spots, so I needed complete replace of cement slab. I could not have been happier to give simply 10 out of 10 rating for Toronto Concrete Repairs overall work and performance. Response from customer support (Agnes and Monica) was fast and straight forward. Based on approximate quotation for standard garage size concrete replacement job, we were happy to schedule a site visit. Next day Hubert and Martin measured the garage and gave me exactly same, very good discounted price as I got over the phone. Next I had one day to clean up garage to make space. Hubert, Martin and Paul showed up following two days, right on time, at 8:00 am. They came up with all required tools and did fast, clean and very professional work on removing old concrete, add gravel, level and compact it, put vapor barrier and wire mesh, hire concrete mixer truck, pour concrete and level it perfectly. The site was thoroughly cleaned after every step and when the project was finished. Hubert, Martin and Paul did super good work, answered all my questions and were very keen in following their high quality standards. At the end I got a thicker concrete slab than standard for basically best price. Overall, this project which I’ve delayed for more than 10 years was done in three days from initial site visit. A section of my concrete driveway was damaged and I am very thankful to Hubert for taking on this project. All other concrete companies refused the job as they felt it was too small. Hubert arrived with his team, explained the job thoroughly and ensured the finished work would be of absolute perfection. I am very pleased with the repair as it was a bit challenging to repair an old curb. His team was very courteous, hard working and completely focused on getting the job done efficiently and to their standard. I need to also make mention of Monika, the office co-ordinator, who was extremely helpful in scheduling the job in a timely manner until it was fully completed and to my satisfaction. The project was not easy (basement floor in an old Toronto home) but they were able to remove our existing basement floor and replace it with a new one within 4 days. Hubert and his team were awesome to work with. My wife and I were anxious about starting the project because we weren't sure if we'd find a company able to do both the masonry work and install new railings. We were super happy to chat with Hubert and find out he could accommodate both to take the pressure off of us to coordinate two projects. Hubert took plenty of time with us to discuss the project, understand our needs and prepare options for us to work with. Once the project was underway, Martin did an awesome job of keeping things on schedule. As usual with an old Toronto house, there were a couple of surprising during the work but the team was quick to call us with options on how to move forward. We're super happy with the result and would highly recommend the team to anyone and would use them again, of course.

Huge "Thank You" to Hubert and his team for taking on a project that many contractors felt was too messy of a job. I needed to finish a basement renovation ~ 600 sq ft. My basement was partially finished with a very uneven (2-3 inch difference in some corners) exposed concrete floor. I also wanted to maximize the basement ceiling height and asked for solutions without having to go through underpinning. I went through multiple quote from contractors, did my due diligence in asking the right questions. I do my research on what the project entails. When I contacted Hubert, he was quick at getting back to me, accommodated the quote appointment time with my schedule. He came back with one of the contractors (Paul) to provide me solutions for the messy uneven floor. I chose to go with Hubert and his team, as I felt they gave me honest advice no wishy-washy answers, as opposed to the other quotes I got. The team was great, I travel for work, to keep me up to date on the project progress, while I was traveling, they would send me daily pictures, which gave me a great piece of mind. I was very satisfied with their work. In the end I was able to gain about 3-4 inches of ceiling height. The team dag out 2 bins of soil by hand, re-poured the concrete floor and finished the rest of the basement. I'm so happy how the floors turned out. Now I have a beautifully finished basement.Thank you Hubert

We found Toronto Concrete Repairs here on HomeStars and called for a free estimate. We needed help with several hairline cracks and one larger one on our verandah which caused leaks into our cold cellar when raining or snowing. Our rusty, peeling, iron railings were also in need of work. Both Hubert and Paul are very pleasant to deal with, answered all questions to our satisfaction, explained all the choices available, and showed us samples of refinishing choices. They got to work quickly and removed the previous surface on the cement; treated the bottom of the railing posts to prevent future rust deposits on the verandah surface; scraped the rust away from the railings and repainted them; repainted the section by the stairs so it would coordinate in colour with everything else; repaired the one serious crack (the others turned out to be just in the polarcrete covering, not into the concrete base); put a wonderful new surface on our verandah. It looks greatl and we are receiving many compliments on how it looks. We are very happy and pleased with it and with them! I recommend Hubert and Paul most highly. They are very personable, work hard, make sure everything is understood, patiently answer all questions, and are very particular that their work is done well and to their exacting standards. We enjoyed meeting them; were happy to have found them; are full of praise for their work and attention to detail. We recommend them most highly!
