    Outside Waterproofing

    I recently purchased a house and discovered that there was dampness in the basement, seeping up from under the floor near the back wall. I called several contractors, who gave me all sorts of different advice and prices (the highest was $25k for a repair!), and eventually called Mud Monkeys, based on the recommendations here on Homestars. Darby came out and looked at the wall, and was quickly able to determine what the problem was. His quote was quite reasonable and the fact that his work was guaranteed made it very appealing, in the event that the first fix didn't solve the issue.He was familiar with the type of soil and drainage in my area, and even pointed out why a cracked step in my basement walkout may have occurred. It has now been about a month since the work was done, and there has been no more moisture in the area since the work was done.They were there every day and did an amazing job of cleaning up after each day's work. I'm very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Mud Monkeys to others.

    Basement waterproofing

    We hired Mud Monkeys to waterproof our leaking basement in our century home. The guys were friendly and processional and, more importantly, true to their word. We had some problems with the waterproofing another were tenacious in responding to issues and finally sourcing and solving the problem. We would not hesitate to recommend Darby and his team.

    Waterproofing / Cement Floor

    We had Mud Monkeys do some waterproofing on the exterior of our home in July 2013. Their work was great and quick. They're response to our queries and needs was outstanding. They went above and beyond. We also had them put in a sump pit as well as weeping tile and a new floor in part of the basement. Again they did great work. I would recommend Darby, Nick and their crews to anyone.

    Basement exterior waterproofing

    We had a major water problem in our basement, every time it rained the basement would be wet and the problem was getting worse. Mud monkeys did an excellent job of exterior waterproofing. They started the job earlier than expected and finished on time. The job site was kept clean, they even dug under my porch without disturbing it or my garden. Darby, Nick and the crew were very courteous and did an awesome job. We have had major downpours since the job was completed and no water in the basement. Darby was quick to respond to my concerns of the gravel shift due to heavy rain and was quick to fix it. Thanks for doing an awesome job guys! I would definitely recommend Mud Monkeys.

    basement waterproofing

    been over a year since i had waterproofing done and am very happy with the result. don't know why i waited so long as Darcy was able to come up with a solution that was affordable and effective. even got a rebate from the city for a sump pump

    waterproofing exterior

    We hired Mud Monkeys after a longstanding water problem in our basement had required mold remediation. They came after that work and waterproofed the exterior foundation. They did a good job, and they did it in a timely fashion.

    water proof basement

    I hired Mud Monkeys just before a flash flood for a small problem. That problem grew after the flood hit and the mud monkeys accommodated our needs and extended their job for us. They are professional, hard working and keep you informed. And now when it rains I don't go running to the basement to see if there is a problem. That's big for me. I highly recommend using their services.

    Basement Waterproofing

    Darby was recommended by a friend and absolutely lived up to the recommendation. He was responsive and very knowledgable in outlining the options for me. He was honest about the timelines for the actual work. The team was great - the work professional and the job site clean. Then the real challenge came up - the basement still leaked !!! ... The problem was really my (attached) neighbour's had a large hole and the water was migrating into my basement. Darby figured this out and handled the difficult conversation with my neighbour (who had waterproofed from the inside and did not "see" a problem). Darby promised me he would make my basement dry - and lived up to the promise. I would highly recommend Darby and his team.

    Basement bench footing

    I've used Mud Monkeys on several occasions now. Darby is likely the most responsive contractor I've ever worked with, whether regarding quoting, consultation, responding to issues, etc. We lowered our basement and had no issues passing inspection. If there are bumps along the way, they take responsibility to fix them.
