    Waterproofing

    Shortly after the ice storm, we noticed water in our basement. We contacted numerous waterproofing companies and were referred to Mud Monkeys Waterproofing by a company that did not work in the east end of Toronto. First and foremost, Darby and his crew have to be one of the nicest and easiest groups of people to deal with. Darby came out, assessed the work and gave a reasonable quote. He did not try to oversell us, like other companies did. When his crew arrived, they were polite, worked quickly and kept me up to date on the work and how it was progressing - they encouraged questions and didn't mind my curiosity. They kept the site clean - which was a big deal for me as I envisioned muck everywhere. In the end, the only sign that work was done was the cut in the asphalt. (Darby also recommended someone to repair the area, once it had settled.) Would definitely use Darby and his crew again and would highly recommend them!

    Basement Benching

    The recent news about the Roxton house collapse makes me so grateful that I used Mud Monkeys for my renovation in 2011. They wisely advised me that I could not underpin only my half of the semi. and we ended up benching. If you are considering Mud Monkeys but find them a bit more expensive than other contractors please remember that you get what you pay for.

    Basement waterproofing

    Waterproofing of an old foundation in termite laden south toronto. Mud Monkeys worked in conjunction with Aetna and handled additional challenges of needing to excavate along a city laneway. They attended meetings with city officials to help secure the permit, kept to schedule and budget, and managed the job in the tight space confines of old Toronto (a challenge in itself) with minimal disruption. Mud Monkeys were consummate professionals, always pleasant and knowledgeable. When they noticed a leak in my roof gutter, they made a point of informing us. When they found that my front porch wasn't sufficiently underpinned and they couldn't excavate there safely, they revised the quote. These guys are qualified, competent, honest, treat their employees and customers well. The proof is that when we solve the problem with supporting our front porch, we will hire them again.

    Basement Underpinning

    Where to start? We had Darby and his crew underpin our basement after getting a recommendation from a close friend. While we had a few different quotes we weren't really considering anyone else for the work because the recommendation was so good and I don't consider this the type of work that you leave to chance. We weren't disappointed. He and his team are the easiest contractors to work with in the entire city. They remember casually mentioned requests and are meticulous in executing such heavy and dirty work. Mud monkeys are honest, dependable and talented. I'm very happy that I hired them.

    Exterior Waterproofing

    Darby and his team were great! From the get-go, Darby was attentive and professional and answered all my questions. While his prices were amazing (a couple of other companies quoted me almost twice as much), I ultimately went with him because I felt comfortable that I was going to get good service and I wasn't disappointed. Unlike some others I had contacted who said that it was difficult or impossible to do such a narrow lane-way at the top of steps up from the sidewalk, Darby simply said that they could make it work for my neighbours and me. His team worked away through various elements (it was early December) and did a fabulous job. It has now been two years and I have had no issues and I have already referred Mud Monkeys to a few others in the neighbourhood.

    Waterproof home foundation

    The leaking has stopped through our old brick foundation. I was struck by the quality of your company and your crew. They were a pleasure to have around, always helpful and responsive, kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up extremely well when the job was done. It was our good fortune to engage your services and we would be glad to recommend your company to anyone.

    Interior Basement Waterproofing

    D'arby and his team are real pros, and found a more effective and less costly solution than originally thought. Job done quickly, professionally and with fairly minimal clean up beyond what we planned for.

    waterproofing basement

    I have never had someone doing work around my home who is as thoughtful and competent as Darby and his crew. It was a devil to correct but he came back every time I called and did it. I recommend him highly.

    Mysterious Water Leak

    Had water seeping into the basement and couldn't determin where it was coming from. Review companys and obtain a few qoute to get the job done and Mud Monkeys was one that came out to be the best. Darby who is the main guy was by far the most respectful person and who understand what your trying to accomplish. He was very formal explaining what needed to get done and communication afterward was quick and complete. started the job and ensure area was kept clean and other items didn't get dirty. Job was done earlier than expected and reached out to show what was discovered and review the situation to better make the job get done. Over all i will be using this company along with his guys for any future jobes... Thank you again Darby, Nick and didn't get the other guy name...

    Basement waterproofing

    Darby is communicative, honest and his team does fine work. We couldn't be happier, our basement is dry and we trust him totally. Darby was upfront with us, took an incremental approach to our problem, starting with specific problem areas then waiting to see if it solved the leakage, so we didn't spend excessive money. I'd recommend this company to anyone. Clean for such messy work, considerate and well-spoken, these are some fine monkeys!
