    interlock installation of rear patio, driveway and front steps

    - quite satisfied with quality of and performance of work - price is competitive - Ted is easy to talk to and is co-operative with client - crew is flexible/good natured/professional - good experience overall

    Backyard redo

    A fantastic job done by the folks at Hobson Landscapes. Ted (and his crew) was friendly and patient, and had great ideas for our project, and transformed our old and tired backyard into something to be proud of, with new stonework, pergola, sod, and carpentry. Look no further than choosing his firm, worth every cent.

    Landscaping

    We've now used Hobson Landscapes for two fairly substantial projects (retaining walls, patio/walk ways, landscaping) with consistent results: 1. On budget 2. On schedule (barring inclement weather) 3. Fantastic Service with extremely courteous staff 4. Clean job site I cannot say enough great things about Ted and his staff. We've use Hobson on two separate occasions and he has exceeded our expectations on both projects and we'll be using again for our 2014 Spring project. Ted epitomizes the qualities wanted in a contractor. Service, Quality, Integrity (kept promises), Competitive Pricing...etc...etc. Definitely short list Hobson for any Landscape project!!!

    New frontporch stairs and backyard gate

    Ted and his team build new stairs for my frontporch. The job required some creative thinking to make it work with the existing old porch and Ted was extremely helpful, flexible and came up with a great design. The work was done professionally, on budget and on time. I highly recommend Ted and his team!

    Backyard and parking pad

    Hobson Landscapes was highly recommended by our neighbor whose project they just finished. Right from the beginning Ted struck me as a very honest, professional and knowledgeable contractor. Ted understood what we wanted and made a good proposal that was detailed and clear and the price was fair. The project was started on time and the end result is excellent. Ted is a great contractor and has a skilled and knowledgeable team working with him who pay attention to detail to produce excellent work. I would certainly recommend Hobson Landscapes to anyone.

    Backyard Landscaping, Retaining wall, stone patio

    Hobson Landscapes did an excellent job with sprucing up our backyard after we had an old tree removed. We were open for suggestions, and they provided us with a few design options that gave us privacy, as well as more usable space for when we need to entertain. The team built out a lovely retaining wall, built a new lower extension to our stone patio, repaired some existing interlock, and provided a number of trees to finish everything off. Hobson landscapes completed the entire project on time and on budget and I will highly recommend them in the future.

    front walk, stairs, landing

    front walk/landing, 2 sets of stairs (10 total), concrete bed, natural limestone. ted and his crew were on time, friendly, clean, and so obviously knew what they are doing. their work looks great, and (as i saw them do it) i know that it was done right. they were thoughtful about getting the best finished product, and i could tell they took pride in their work; i certainly am proud of it. next landscaping project that comes up for me, i know who is going to do it. (my neighbour stopped me to tell me that these guys are not like your typical contractors; they were clean-cut, didn't swear, were polite, not overly noisy, and friendly to the kids that were going around the block for the 'terry fox run'. she said it was "refreshing". now there's something you don't hear every day...)

    Cedar back deck

    Ted Hobson did our front (cedar) porch and stone steps and walkway a few years ago, so when we decided to replace our 30-year old back deck, he was our first and only choice. He worked with us on the design, and his crew was great. They tore down and removed the old deck (and all the debris hidden beneath it), and carefully built the new one, complete with three privacy screens, a storage bench and a new garden gate. Builders Gonzalo and Mike were great: punctual, precise, quiet, courteous, friendly, accurate and efficient. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each work day, and all materials and equipment were removed promptly at the end. We have had many compliments on our new 'outdoor home' and are extremely pleased with the results. Great work!

    Patio

    We solicited the services of Hobson Landcapes to remove our existing back patio, partial fencing and gate, and replace with unilock pavers and new wood fence and gate.. Hobson Landscapes was very professional, creative, dependable and always open to our needs. We would highly recommend Hobson Landscapes

    Front Yard and Walkway/Retaining wall

    Ted and his crew are fantastic. We had our backyard and patio done last year and after a reno needed the front walkway and front yard landscaped. Ted came up with great ideas that met our budget and also look great. His crew shows up on time, the project ran as planned and the final price is how it was quoted, no issues, no surprises just great work! Thanks Ted.
