After having a bad experience with a roofing company we really did our research for this project. We had three quotes and felt that Jason gave us the most information, a couple of different options to choose from and the confidence in his company that we needed. The roof looks great and a couple of heavy rains later we are dry! The crew made sure everything was cleaned up nicely - no nails or debris left behind. We will refer them in the future.

Canadian Roofing was a referral from an interior renovation company Custom & Quality and the owner of Canadian Roofing Jason was beyond helpful with redoing my roof and most importantly it was done properly. Jason originally gave me a free quote and genuinely took the time to explain to me the cost break down of each section of his quote. I was extremely happy with his descriptive explanation. Overall I had the original chip board plywood removed, and replaced with new 1/2 inch spruce plywood, they also installed ice shield which was never there before, along with new shingles / roofing vents. Also I had some eavestroughing ripped out and replaced which they matched up the colour perfectly. The job was done in 2 days which was super impressive. The best part about why I chose to go with this company was the excellent communication from Jason via phone or text. It made me feel at ease and less to worry about that he wasn't hiding anything or being shady. Overall I give this company a 10/10 with great customer service, quality products and would recommend this for any roofing job. Cheers!

When we first discovered a leak in our roof of the house we recently bought, my wife and I were clearly troubled. However, after meeting Darren at our place, he helped us to feel comfortable and didn't push or rush us to commit to the job. We took our time, shopped around, and settled on going with Canadian Roofing because we trusted that Darren would do a great job. Happily, we were not disappointed. Darren kept us updated and informed throughout the entire process - and we are very happy and dry with our new roof!

There's no doubt these guys do a great job. I waited 3 or 4 months for them to get to my roof, but the crew sent was huge, there were four layers of shingles to strip, and the work site was kept immaculate. The roof looks great. The one quibble I have was with a back mud room. The shingles on it were new, but Jason said because of the low pitch, it should be treated as a flat roof. I agreed, even though, as I said, the shingles were fine. I signed the quote. Then when the guys came to do the roof, apparently the quote was for shingles and treating it as a flat roof would be extra. This made no sense to me. In the end, it didn't matter because the wood was all rotten and needs to be torn down. I was still charged the full quote of $13,000 which was way higher than any other quote I got for just the main roof. So, I'd give them 10/10 for quality, but 7/10 for pulling the "flat roof is extra" switcheroo. I felt like I'd been had.

When Jason came and gave me his estimate, he spend a lot of time making sure I knew exactly what they were going to do and how and why. That was much appreciated. Due to other reviews, I guess I pretty much expected the high quality that I got, but that they did it so well so quickly was a surprise. Justin and the guys were extremely efficient as the debris was being cleaned up as it was produced. There seemed to never really be a time when the grounds were truly messed up, and as I look at the roof now, it really looks great. I'm really happy with the work, the attitude, and the efficiency. Excellent company!

I had a leaking roof by the chimney due to improper shingle installation done by another company. I called Jason at Canadian Roofing. When I explained the issue he gave me an estimate right away without even looking at it as he knew exactly what the problem was. The next day he came and physically checked and gave me the contract to sign. Even though it was a bit pricey for such a small job his crew came and fixed it within 1 hour. I am fully satisfied for the great work he has done. I will certainly recommend him to someone who has similar issue and looking for someone.

The pitched roof and back porch roof needed re-shingling, the old roof was in very poor repair with multiple layers of shingles as well as squirrel and water damage. Darren gave a realistic and detailed quote. His crew did a very professional job, leaving the worksite cleaner than they found it. The initial job uncovered more damage than was anticipated, Darren worked with us to cover the extra work within our budget. The work was checked after completion and minor adjustments made to bring it up to Darren's exacting standards. Overall the curb appeal of our home is much improved and I can sleep sounder knowing the roof is in good repair. A little more expensive than others but the quality shows.

Owner Jason Hunter provided a detailed written estimate of the work required to update my pitched and flat roof and it was competitive with other bids. More importantly, his professionalism left me feeling confident in the quality of the work and I was very pleased with the result produced by his team.

Thanks to Darren and his crew my roof doesn't leak anymore! I had my roof done by a very dishonest company 6 years ago! Beware of non professionals. DARREN and his Canadian Roofing crew came in last week of January 2016 and stripped my roof and redid the job. They also sprayed insulation in my attic as my house is an "old East York home" needed it! An independent family company run by professionals! They are understanding of how owning a home and it's expenses can be so they do the best job they can! You will get your Money's worth! Thanks Again Darren and Canadian Roofing Company!

I had a raccoon tear up some shingles on my roof. I called several roofing companies and this one was the most reasonably priced. I've used them more than once now and they always respond quickly, have great customer service and they do very good work. Jason Hunter in particular was very helpful. I asked for repairs to be done the same day and they were here within a couple hours, despite being busy with other jobs.
