Old roofing and chimney removed and replaced on an older Toronto home. Darren clearly explained everything that needed doing his team were efficient and professional. They cleaned the debris after each day's work. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

The flat roof on my semi-detached was due for replacement. I had quotes from a few companies, but Darren from Canadian Roofing Company was easily my first choice. He did the most thorough analysis of my existing roof and provided a detailed quote for various level of rebuild. I opted to go with a full structural rebuild which is a very big job with many technical aspects. Darren's crew did an amazing job. Not only are they experienced professionals, they were very respectful, good communicators and got the job done efficiently with great attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Canadian Roofing Company.

Darren was recommended to us by three neighbours!! He is professional, patient, provides timely details and updates, very responsive to questions and kept his word on timelines. Canadian Roofing provided excellent service for the repair and re-shingling of my roof and provision of new eavestroughs and downpipes. The estimate was comprehensive and fair. Prompt communication by Jason Hunter explained any required changes discovered as work progressed. The work was completed in an efficient and professional manner. The site clean-up was excellent. I would definitely recommend Canadian Roofing.

Had roof repaired and re-shingled. Quote was detailed & very fair. Did not exceed estimate except for agreed on additions that were well explained. Point man was very polite at all times. Did not try to up-sell. Oversaw & inspected work daily & made sure it was done thoroughly & correctly. Crew were on time every day, were hard workers, did excellent work and did not use profanity nor play music (and no "gangsta music") over loudly. Job site was cleaned up every day. Client's property and garden were well protected. A fully professional & reliable company. Very highly recommended.

After contacting about a half-dozen roofing companies, we selected Canadian Roofing to re-roof our hundred year old, three storey Victorian semi-detached home in downtown Toronto. Jason let us know how they were going to do the job, and Steve and the crew did their work conscientiously. They were quick to deal with any issues we had as the job progressed, and cleaned-up thoroughly at the end of each day. The skylight replacement was a last-minute decision and we got the last one in stock. When the workers opened the carton, they noticed a small scratch on the glass and warned us about it. We had to make a quick decision whether to go ahead with it or replace the old skylight and wait weeks for a new one. Anxious to get the job done without a second visit, we went with the scratched skylight. Later Jason was instrumental in getting Velux to send us a free blind as compensation for accepting the scratched skylight. We had the feeling that the company valued us as customers, and happily recommend them.

My old roof had shingles that were being blown off and I was getting leaks. So I called Canadian Roofing Company and within a week, Darren came over and provided me with a fair quote on the spot. I also appreciated them being able to fit my job in their schedule, given the leaks I was having. The job went ahead and Dan and Steve's crews came at the agreed time, worked professionally, and left my property in clean condition. A+ I can highly recommend this company based on my experience so far.

Darren was patient, respectful and kept me up to date right from the first meeting to determine a cost estimate which included pointing out areas of risk where costs could increase, through to the end when dealing with a small snag (more on that below). For the roof, they stripped several layers of old shingles and put on new ones and re-sheathed a portion of the house that needed it. I won't go into great detail here since, similar to a lot of other reviews, they did an excellent job. Time will reveal how the roof will perform but initial impressions are good and given the detail put in to the installation I expect that the risk of encountering an issue should be low. Now on to the snag - It's my opinion that an important factor that elevates one company from the rest is not necessarily how they execute the core roofing work (that should be the easy part), but how they handle unexpected issues and disputes that inevitably come up. A few days after the work was wrapped up, my neighbour pointed out to me that there was some minor damage to the parging layer on the side of his house that was not previously there, ironically, in the area where a sheet of plywood had been placed to protect his furnace/dryer vents. I called Darren to bring this up to him and to my relief, he did not argue and did not get defensive and pledged to come have a look and determine the best path forward to correct the problem. Within a week, the damaged section of parging had been patched up and as far as i can tell, my neighbour is satisfied. So while i think it's still fair to say that the damage should not have happened in the first place (hence the 1 point deduction on the score here), I greatly appreciate that this issue was taken seriously and a repair was executed quickly. I would be happy to recommend this company to friends and family.

Jason was a dream to work with. I can't say enough about the work that his team (Steve being the onsite foreman) did at my house. Jason took the time to explain everything about what the issue was, how they were going to solve it, why it mattered, and what I could expect. he answered every question I had and was always available if there was a problem. I had two flat roofs that were leaking and creating problems and their team went above and beyond to find the issues, make sure everything was solved for, regrade to ensure no more water would pool, and then water test everything. The quality of work is unparalleled (MUCH better than any roofers I've used previously at other houses) and they stand behind everything they do. I cannot recommend them enough.
