    Perfect For Our Needs

    David was a superstar. From the beginning when we were drawing up preliminary plans, David listened carefully and provided invaluable suggestions and advice on how to renovate our upper floor. He drew up several options that incorporated our requests and his designs were amazing. After interviewing a number of contractors, we decided to go with the company David suggested which turned out to be a great decision. They worked seamlessly together to make our vision into a reality. Very reasonably priced, they stayed on budget providing us with a premium look at a reasonable cost. We are planning to renovate the rest of the house in the coming years and we will definitely be calling on David for help!

    The full package

    This is the third time I've used David to 'captain' a renovation or decorating project on my behalf and I highly recommend him to anyone. He's the full package -- he has the design skills to draw detailed plans that make it easy for a contractor to deliver his vision. It's so refreshing not to have that conflict between design vision and the trades. He listens and gets a sense of you as a person in the suggestions he makes for design. He manages the trades with aplomb and works his contacts to deliver materials even in a pandemic supply chain crisis. Highly recommend.

    Interior design lover on a modest budget

    We called David not sure exactly what we wanted in our living room and kitchen but knew we want a space that looked as though it had been pulled together by a true interior designer. David turned that vision into reality bringing our early 2000 builder basic kitchen and living space into a sleek upscale and totally livable space for our family. David’s suggestions to the smallest detail gave our space that extra oomh. Thank you David. Ready to start the master bedroom and bath!

    Design for open concept kitchen

    My husband and I had the pleasure of working with David recently for the design and spec drawings for open concept kitchen. David was amazing - he provided quick and professional service. He has great ideas and was very patient with all our questions. His experience was invaluable.     Kitchen Renovation and Beyond

    David was an absolute dream to work with start to finish. We worked with him on what was supposed to be a small kitchen renovation. When we took down a wall we learned that our very old house had many problems and ended up needing to renovate much more than expected (e.g. new bathroom, plumbing, electrical etc.). David was with us every step of the way and made what would have been an incredibly stressful renovation feel totally managable. He was responsive, punctual, reliable, and fun to spend time with and also made our house both safe and beautiful! Not only does he have an incredible eye for design - listening carefully to what we liked and then creating a space that is nicer than what I could've imagined within our pretty tight budget, but it really felt like he cared about our house as much as we did. In sum, we now LOVE our kitchen and bathroom and would 1000% work with David again in the future and recommend him to anyone looking to design their space!!! Thank you again!

    My Beautiful Kitchen and bath

    I needed help with my kitchen and master bathroom renovations and I am so pleased with my decision to hire David. Not only is he knowledgeable when it comes to design, but he's fun work with.     David turned “drab 60s” to “light and airy modern"

    My partner and I recently bought a new home which was desperately in need of some modernization. The kitchen was horribly dated and the family room needed … SOMETHING. A friend recently had a renovation done on his home and recommended David. We were thrilled with his plans for the new kitchen which took it from “drab 60s” to “light and airy modern”, and his ideas for the family room, including a fireplace surrounded by built-ins, made it the focus of our new home.     Upstairs/Bathrooms Renos

    This is the second time I've used David J. Design Inc. for home renovations so I already knew David's level of service and satisfaction and he did not disappoint. Like before, David walked through step by step - from design to finished product he ensured I was thrilled with my two beautiful bathrooms. He has a great relationship with the contractor and also stays on budget and upfront with any costs so there are no surprises at the end. I would definitely recommend (and have) using his expertise on any future projects.

    kitchen and bathroom reno

    David came highly recommended to me and i was not disappointed. He was wonderful to work with, listened to my ideas and had lots of suggestions to accomplish what i wanted and i love how it all turned out.
