    Great design and execution

    Very satisfied with the service. Gus has great ideas, both practical and good looking. Completed on time and budget. You’ll get many compliments. All of the paintings survived and thrived, even though we had some heavily shaded areas.

    Driveway, front yard and Backyard

    We interviewed around 5 contractors for the landscaping work of our front and back yards as well as the driveway. Gus stood out from all of them through his proposal of detailed breakdown of each tasks within this project. He showed us his great knowledge and understanding through various recommendations, which are proven to be total "making sense". His team completed the job exactly as what was designed and we expected with high quality and great details. All my friends love the look and feel of the landscaping. In addition to that, Gus also provided great after sale service. He came to fix some issues came out after the project proactively. He makes sure the dollar you spent on the projects are well worth it. We highly recommend you consider Sogreen for the big project you are going to have for your house.

    Retaining wall, plateform to the shed, landscaping.

    Started on time; finished on time with an excellent job. Followed exactly the contract there were no unpleasant surprises, headaches or fees. The workers were very professional and pleasant. We were very satisfied with the finished job.

    Backyard entertaining area completed in 2008

    The design brief was to create an entertaining area for 8 people. Go Green designed a sophisticated 20x20 foot area with ewe, boxwood and existing cedars defining the space. A river birch was added along with curbing, pea gravel and staggered stepping stones. They created a stunning oasis in my backyard just steps from Bloor Street that still looks great 20 years later!

    Interlock front, side and backyard with retaining wall, plus landscaping

    Gus and his team did professional job within budget with beautiful workmanship. Their work included excavating and replacing previous patio stones. In addition to installing new interlocks in the front, side and backyard patio, Gus also put up a retaining wall with a water management system. Final touches include some landscaping work as well as fence repairs.

    Landscape design

    Removal of old patio stones -replacement with new stones and anew design- levelling and grading as well as removal of tree stumps- designed new pattern of large and smaller stones

    Backyard landscaping

    Professional, reliable, great design, beautiful visuals from every sight line. He maximized the function, the space, and the aesthetic. We can recommend Gus and his team without any hesitation . His designs are inventive, creative, and outstanding.

I remember our initial meeting when we all started putting this project together , gathering the information from you in regards to your wish list, needs , privacy , featured required , Material selection ,as well to having your house and back yard facing a beautiful conservation area and not blocking this natural view and beauty . It was a very challenging job and I keep telling my new prospective customer that a good design and great project comes to reality *( Alive) only if the customer helps and work closely with his/her designer during all phases of the project from design , execution , planting , material selection , outdoor furniture....etc. And you and Jian were those customers . It was a pleasure working with you on all phases of this amazing project. I do recall one small part of this project when we tried out sourcing the bamboo and we couldn't find any supplier close by and one day during the project you and jain found a supplier somewhere in Cambridge , Burlington ...!, and you came to me saying hey gus we found a supplier however , we will need a long van or vehicle to get them to site. And I recall you wanted to hand select them one by one and not have the supplier deliver them randomly. So we decided to empty the tools out one of our van and have you both drive out west to get those Bamboo. That day made me realize that being a good landscape design/build is important , but what makes the project even better is having a meticulous customer that cares about the slightest details , colors and all elements of the project to blend together well..... and that's all because of you ... thank you .     Front and backyard redone

    By and large the work was excellent in redoing our yards. Materials used were of much higher quality than what other landscapers proposed using for roughly the same quote. The ultimate design suited us well. A few small elements were able to be refined with some responsive back and forth over email. A little more care with impact of work on neighbours' property and parking is something to look out for in the future. Some minor details needed addressing after the work was finished, and we had some shifting with the gate coming out of alignment, but this was readily fixed under warranty a year and a half later.

    Landscape Design, Build.

    Gus and his team designed a beautiful plan for our backyard. The project took 2 months and all went very well. We had a deck, stone patio and wall with gas fireplace, waterfall and plants and shrubs put in. We also had the sides and front of the house touched up. Also, lighting was put in place in the front and back. We were very pleased with the outcome and friends and neighbours were in awe when they first saw the finished product. We were entered into Landscape Ontario's Gala Awards in 2014 and Gus won in the category that he entered our property in. We would highly recommend him to anyone.
