Svea provided all the kitchen cabinets for our renovation. Right from our first meeting with Vlad from Svea, we could tell we were in good hands. Svea assisted us in choosing finishes, designing the layout, and completing the full installation. They even assigned an Interior Designer to our project (Nadia) to ensure that the end product would meet all our needs while looking its best. Throughout the entire process they were friendly, professional, and ALWAYS followed through with every commitment. A kitchen renovation is a big project. However, Svea completed their portion of the job, on-time and hassle-free. Their prices are very competitive with other custom offerings. We researched many kitchen cabinet suppliers/installers before we decided to go with Svea, and no other companies could even come close to the price vs quality and service that Svea offered. Svea is priced slightly higher than the big box stores (specifically, those with four letters and starting with an I), but with Svea you get so much more in terms of service, finishes, and options, that even the big Swedish company cant compete. And, you dont have to fumble around with an allen wrench and a drill, trying to put a bunch of boxes together and reading instructions with no words :) Svea does EVERYTHING for you, from start to finish. Everyone who sees the new kitchen is in awe, and the first thing they ask is 'where did you get it?' So, Im sure it wont be long before I start seeing Svea at the houses of my friends and colleagues. Great thing is though, every kitchen is custom, so they all are unique (unlike the big box offerings). If you hate to see another cookie-cutter kitchen, then Svea custom is definitely the way to go. In case it is not clear by now, I HIGHLY recommend Svea for your next kitchen reno. At very least, make sure you book an appointment with Vlad and check out their offerings before making a decision on who to go with. I guarantee, you will not be disappointed.

We live in a relatively new condo. As the most of new units, it was built with small and non-functional kitchen lacking working surface and storage capacity. During the time we lived in it, it became more and more cluttered, up to the point of becoming unusable. I found the company (SVEA Kitchens) on the Internet, and upon visit was immediately impressed by the fact that website correctly reflected content of the showroom, as well as with the service quality. Owner of the company Vlad and designer Nadia were able to meet my very hectic schedule and meet with me at my convenience, either at 9PM or at my home. Upon measuring the available space at my home, Nadia came up with several variants of the design, working around condo limitations (i.e. the fact that pillars surrounding the kitchen could not be removed since they carry building piping and phone conduits) while meeting my requirements of increasing storage space and preparation area. Demolition and delivery went according to the plan. However, installation was a bit on difficult side as installers tried to show attitude. This was promptly terminated by Vlad coming on site and figuring out issues and resolutions. Any residual problems also were handled promptly and efficiently, and for no cost for me. I wish SVEA kitchens provided end-to-end services, including plumbing/electrical/painting etc. The rest of the project was much less smooth. I am the Project Manager by trade, and I lamely thought that I can handle the rest of the project myself. Well, it was not true, and completion of the kitchen was sometimes kind of nerve-wrecking, but this is already another story. Bottom line, it was very different from effective and efficient work of SVEA team.

Before our first introduction to SVEA Kitchens during the Toronto Home Show event in 2011 we had shopped around for a kitchen manufacture that could match our design and budget requirements. Design and price offered by SVEA attracted our attention right away. Style and quality of kitchen cabinets, professionalism and great attitude of Vlad and Nadia during the entire project, no waiting time, no empty promises - everything fit into a perfect picture. Thank you Guys for the great job. We definitely recommend your team to all customers.

Upon moving into a new home, I realized that our new kitchen was just subpar at best. With renovation on my mind, I began scouring the internet for an interesting design for my compete overhaul. I actually learned about Svea from this exact website. I really enjoyed their designs and reasonable pricing. I then visited their Toronto gallery and received a very informative session on kitchen furniture. I feel that Svea’s high-quality services are unmatched in their commitment and dedication every step of the way. When I had issues with one of the new kitchen cabinets, they almost immediately responded and had a look at it. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen in a modern, European style.

We saw a Svea Kitchen a friends house and immediately and fell in love with the clean lines. Our friends raved about the design and installation. We forged ahead and had Svea create a design for us. The whole process was easy and professional with a minimum of sales pressure. Once our kitchen was ready for the cabinet install the whole process took no more than 2 days. There were a couple of issues with the install; however, they were dealt with quickly with little fuss. Would recommend the company and its products.

My SVEA cabinets are beautiful and functional. I discovered SVEA at the Home Show five years ago and dreamt of having a white SVEA kitchen ever since. When I committed to renovating my condo last fall, I immediately called Vlad. He and his team have been a pleasure to work with; they measured carefully, considered my needs, likes and dislikes, and made good suggestions on the configuration of my galley kitchen. Vlad offered practical advice and did not try to "oversell" anything to me. Vlad's installer, Oleg, was wonderful. He took great care with the installation, and together with the Vlad and his team resolved little "glitches" to my complete satisfaction. There was a small issue with one of the hinges and Oleg returned promptly to investigate and come up with solutions. Everything seems fine now, but Oleg has assured me that he will be back if I have any more problems because, as he put it, "it has to be right" and I must be "totally satisfied". I highly recommend SVEA kitchens for the quality and price of the product and their commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Miriam

We were extremely pleased with the service that we received from Svea Kitchens. They were very responsive and pulled together a few options for us. The delivery and instillation was on schedule and the kitchen looks beautiful. They also helped us to get a spectacular counter top, a sink and a dishwasher through other suppliers.

I have kept my initial review from 2012, that follows, but to update, I have to say this kitchen has not really stood the test of time. There is a lazy-susan corner unit that has needed repairs on several occasions. The finish on the cupboards is very hard to clean and leaves long term marks. After the install I have slowly realized that shortcuts were taken in places I would not see at first but are revealed over time. Some of the lifting-style cupboard door lock into a straight position at times and hardware needs to be hammered by hand back in to place. The frosted glass used in cupboard doors is almost impossible to clean without leaving streaks and marks and ruining the finish. The general look is still ok and it functions, and to be fair it is not an expensive kitchen, but it is the heart of my home and sometime I do feel disappointed that I have having these problems. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Having met Vlad at a trade show, we were immediately impressed with his product, and with him. We spent almost 2 years researching kitchen companies, contractors and renovators to work with, and in the end, Vlad and Svea Kitchens was our decision. He and his team (designer, contractor to oversee the trades, installer, connections to other services) worked so well together. Nothing was a problem too big to address. From the beginning they worked with us to create the design and select the finishes that would best suit our living style and use of the space. Every job, large or small, will have unexpected issues that have to be resolved, and every concern was handled very quickly and to our full satisfaction. Kitchens can be a source of horror stories - and we have only good stories to share. After only 15 days from the beginning of demolition, I had a basic working kitchen to use. You can choose a cheaper do-it-yourself approach, or go full out and blow the bank on something outrageous. But for a moderately priced, well done, good looking, functional space, there is no competition. We definitely recommend Svea kitchens.

Kitchen is one of the most important rooms in the house, and attention to detail, attentiveness and patience of the contractor is so very important. All this and more we have found when we met Vlad and Nadia at Svea Kitchens. Starting from the design, Nadia listened to our needs, suggested ideas and within just a few meetings we had our dream kitchen in a 3D image! From the variety of beautiful and very modern finishes we found the one we loved. When the kitchen arrived (suprisingly quickly), the installation was also a breeze. Oleg the installer was extremely professional and went out of his way to do an amazing job. We love our kitchen and recommend Svea kitchens to all our friends. Yury and Irina, North York
