    4 MONTHS LATER Did not want to honor signed contract

    Well they estimated in Feb paid deposit 4 months did not even order materials (ENVIROSLATE) then told they did not want to do the shingling because of underquoting on price Very poor communication /job ethics BEWARE now in prime time I have to find another contractor Was not pleased with this company

    The Covid-19 pandemic has created challenges for many industries and businesses. In particular, the construction industry has been hit with significant price increases for both materials and labour. Unfortunately, in this case, we were unable to honour last year’s prices and the customer was not willing to move forward with the project, so we did refund his deposit. With more than six decades of experience, we take our reputation very seriously and we're very sorry that this customer’s experience didn’t match his expectations.

    Siding on my house

    I would like to thank AM Group of Companies for the great job that was done on my home. I had siding installed on my house, garage and shed. They were polite, professional and made sure the property was left cleaned. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for home renovations.

    Insulation

    Upon finding out that i fall outside of the company's service area, I asked for some advice on insulation. And Andrew, their manager was very kind to impart his knowledge and and gave me objective advice despite that they would not be providing the service. My subsequent research also validated his advice. I am writing this to share my level of comfort with their service based on this experience.

    Roofing repair

    Wind damage removed many shingles. Made a call to AM and the next morning Edward was here to look at things. He did an evaluation and quick fix then worked with the insurance co. 3 says later the shingles were replaced. Great quick service would call them again...

    Attic insulation

    We had AM give us a quote for adding additional insulation (to code) in our attic ( approx. 1500 sq ft). Larry came and did an assessment and provided us with a video display of the attic with problem areas (vents). He was very thorough and explained clearly what should be done. The installers came on a very cold day and completed the job in 3-4 hours.

    Zach is a rockstar and knows his stuff!

    Zach was very detailed and thorough in all aspects leading up to having our roof replaced. He knows his products well and instils confidence when making suggestions or addressing any concerns. He made sure we were comfortable and all our requirements/requests were met. We had a couple concerns with the standards/professionalism of the crew that arrived to install the roof but these were addressed immediately by management at the office when we voiced our concerns. When all was said and done we were happy with our decision to use AM and would recommend them. Zach, Jimmie and Cody were excellent to deal with.

    Roof, eavestrough, and insulation

    AM Roofing did a wonderful job on our roof and eaves, it looks amazing! Great that they were also able to add insulation into the attic at the same time. Zach was very helpful with everything and great communication.

    Eavestrough, Fascia, Soffit, Garage Roof

    AM Group was not true to their words that their service is perfect, even without our presence when the project was done. There seems to be no quality control done over the performance of their sub-contractor. When there was heavy rain and snow, there are leaks in the gutter and the gutter guard, which is part of the contract is NOT there at all. I called the office and sent messages through a group chat. It's been five months since the completion of the project and nothing's been done. I just realized that I need to constantly call this company to get the job done. I'm so frustrated!

    Cottage Front Entry

    If we could give 5 stars for craftsmanship and quality of goods, there would be a 5 star rating. Where the rating falters is in the overall process. The sales pitch was a bit convoluted and lengthy. There were issues with the details that were finally resolved to our satisfaction but not without constant follow up on our end. Communication does not seem to be a strength. Highly recommend the product and workmanship.
