I was stuck due to a different moving company screwing up my booking, and John responded to a panicked Sunday email with a quick phone call and some schedule juggling to get a team booked for me the next day. They wrapped everything and after a long harrowing day (traffic and rain doubled a two and a half hour drive) they actually assembled the cage for my parrot so she would be able to settle in quickly. They are the first moving company to ever admit to breaking something and paying me compensation to replace it. (The only hitch is if you don’t have sufficient money on hand for cash or e-transfer they don’t take credit cards.)

J&J Moving turned up with a 3 men crew as ordered and did a great job of carefully wrapping all furniture items as well as dissembling larger items such as bed frames. Successful move.surely recommend them THANK YOU

They came on time,were courteous and friendly. They wrapped everything before moving and they asked where everything was to be put before moving them . The estimate was very close to the actual price and the guys did not damage anything at all. I don’t know what else you could ask for. Beat movers ever !

We received a few quotes and J&J were somewhere on the higher end. However, as I did more digging into the lower priced quotes from other movers, I started to see some hidden fees. Furthermore, I started to look at reviews and there were a number of complaints of a lot of the other moving companies. I spoke to John from J&J and he drove over to look at the amount of stuff and gave me a quote on the spot. We moved from a very small 2 bdrm 1 washroom semi. Our tight place made it very awkward to move things around, but the team did it with ease. They showed up wearing masks, were always on the move, wrapped larger items and were very nice and personable. I had a day-bed up in the spare room which I forgot to take apart, only to find one of the movers with their tools taking it apart for me as it wouldn't fit down the stairs. We had to put our stuff into storage, so we technically used these guys for 2 moves. We negotiated storage for a month but our next place took longer to close, so we actually needed 3 months storage in the end. John and team were able to find storage for us and negotiate 1 month free and likely could have gotten me a better deal on the 2 additional months, but that was our fault for not knowing up front. We also had to shift our move-in date by a week last minute, and they were very accommodating. There was no extra charge on storage for the additional week either. Anyway, I had zero issues and zero headaches with this part of our move. Moving is stressful enough so I was happy to pay a little more for reliable, upfront movers, than to save a few bucks and have added stress and possibly hidden added costs. I have recommended J&J to my cousin and family friend who also used their service and were very happy. If you are the type of person that just wants this portion of your move done with and not have to worry or stress, so you can deal with other details of moving, then these are your guys. I will continue to recommend this company to anyone else I know that is moving.

I used this company first time for my mother's House they were shifting on new apartment and the company J and J Moving Company their team came before time and perform their job in a professional way without any damage they were very fast, quick and friendly too all work done properly I am very Impressed with their services Highly Appreciate.

I had three men from J and J movers move the contents of two storage lockers into one storage locker in another location. They also dropped some items at our home on the way. I needed things to be in a certain order and they managed to do it all exactly as I wanted. They were very patient with all my requests. They did an excellent job and I would use them again.

Since the 1st contact with John he was great. Very understanding and friendly. Scott and his guys moved us from Brampton to Montréal and they did a great job. Everything was packed nicely. They reached on time. Will surely recommand them.

I was so disappointed with my entire moving experience and would not recommend at all. First off, they were 30 mins late, cutting into the elevator booking time which was a strict 2 hours. We told them this at the get go, but they were still very slow moving. I was also told they would come early to disassemble the bed, but that didn't happen since they were late. One of the guys was clearly very inexperienced - e.g. he lifted the kitchen island by the towel rack (seriously?), the other guy was constantly yelling at him to reposition himself, and he just stood around half the time looking lost. They eventually ran out of time so didn't wrap any of the remaining furniture. Well, guess what? The door of the kitchen island banged against the elevator and completely fell off, and there's now a gaping hole in the back of our wardrobe because something fell on it in the truck. They got upset at us when we tried to wrap things up or move small items...basically told us to just stay out of the way. But near the end, they were rushing so finally asked us to jump in and help move stuff. They also took 50 mins to get to our new place (vs it took us 20 mins) and we left at the same time. Lastly, they did not wear any PPE during the entire move. No mask, no gloves. This was just a terrible moving experience from start to finish.

We used J and J Moving Company For our office move from South Etobicoke to North Etobicoke today. WOW!! They were patient with our changing requests and accepted challenge after challenge including moving from a single story building to a two story without an elevator. They were professional, courteous, and wonderful to work with. If I have ten thumbs I will give them ten thumbs up. Thank you!!

We used Golden Hands to move one of our offices recently from downtown Toronto to Youngr and Finch. The team we were quoted was two trucks and 5 guys for an all day move. They were at the pick up location on time. Very professional in how they handled everything, polite and friendly. Igor, the crew lead did an amazing job, making sure everything was taken care of. Everything was done in a very professional way! We recommend Golden Hands for people who are looking for no stress moving!
