I saw that J and J was one of the top rated movers on home stars so I requested and quote from a few companies on the home stars website and he was one of the first to respond to me. Some companies didn't even get back to my request for weeks. He was nice enough to come over to my house for an in-home assessment during covid and took the necessary precautions to keep us safe. Having someone willing to come over was great since I was sick of filling out online forms listing all of the contents of each room of my house. He was friendly and professional and provided me with a flat rate quote a few hours after he left my house. I decided to go with them after getting a few other estimates because he was by far the cheaper option and gave me a flat rate so I wouldn't have to worry about paying by the hour. He was available by phone and email through the whole process. His movers were professional and really hard working. We had some hitches with our house closing which were out of the movers hands but John helped to make those issues as smooth as possible. In the end we got loaded up and unloaded as quickly as possible. The movers wrapped and moved more damagable items with care and even came back for a 3rd time to my old house to just carry the more breakable things (we were just moving down the street.) The guys stayed late until the job was all done and everything made it safe and sound. John was a man of his word with the original price and also answered my email after the move when I thought I lost something and thought it might have been left behind (which I later found in the house of course!) Great experience overall and would definitely recommend/use again.

I've moved with J&J twice now, and both times they've been super prompt, friendly and efficient. My belongings were packed and moved carefully, including when no elevators were available and heroic efforts were made to budge some very heavy items. Life-saving service for a small-stature woman moving house on her own. Can highly recommend!

John was great to work with quoting and servicing our needs. We moved from Toronto (3bdrm home) to Ottawa and his crew did a great job moving and unpacking on both ends. His team was fast, efficient and really courteous. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend J and J. They offered boxes, equipment and timely efficient labour. Five stars all around.

We were recommended to them fr a friend to help us move from North York to Pickering. There were absolutely no issues with the move and they were great guys as well. Very flexible and easy to communicate with. Will definitely recommend them to others.

I was extremely pleased to use J&J Moving Services. When things fell through with other moves that I initially booked, John was great to work with to plan and schedule our move. He had no problem accommodating all of our moving needs, including bubble wrapping and providing extra casing for any of our fragile belongings, such as TVs. Additionally, he was willing to manage the planning and facilitation of the storage for our belongings, something most other movers either weren't willing to do, or added a very significant cost for doing it. John was willing to do everything for a very reasonable price. He was always very polite and stuck to his word, which I really appreciated it. On our move out day, Scottie and Q were great. They were happy to arrive before the originally agreed upon start time to set up. They always were extremely respectful and polite. They were accommodating with all of our requests and were quick moving everything. They spent less than 2 hours to move all of our things, including our furniture, TVs and bed. I'd definitely recommend J&J moving services. From the planning to the move, everyone was always respectful and polite, willing to do great work at a reasonable price.

Hired John and his team to move me from Toronto to Picton. I had a 3 bedroom house and storage so there were a lot of boxes. They took great care of my items and the entire team was very professional and friendly. One of the smoothness moves I've ever had. Would highly recommend them!

We used J And J Moving for our move from a 1 bedroom downtown condo to a house in East York are with a team. All furniture was professionally packed before moving into their huge moving truck. The team was quick in organizing how to best utilize the condo elevator and fast with moving it all into the house. The team was on time, respectful and super friendly! Above all, they are very competitive in price. We would most definitely recommend J And J Moving.

My full review is below in case anyone was interested as I felt the moving process to be stressful so it might help ease your concerns. Price: Given there are so many moving companies and various hidden fees. I came across J and J moving company. I interacted with John who was prompt to reply and helpful answering my many questions. He provided me quote that was a great price and there were no hidden fees. The price that I was quoted was the price I paid at the end of my move. I was extremely pleased about this given that I’ve heard horror stories from my colleagues who used different moving companies. Moving process: The movers Sunny and Scotty arrived on time which was important as my Condo unit had strict rules regarding when they transportation bay is open and booked for certain hours per each tenant. They assessed my condo unit and asked where I would want my furniture to be in the new location. This was very helpful because they were organized when packaging and loading onto their truck allowing for the unpacking process to be seamless and organized. They carefully packaged my furniture/valuables and loaded it on their truck promptly and securely. I felt comfortable that my valuables were safe by the degree/way they packaged the items. Unloading process: They drove from Toronto to the Niagara region and unloaded my furniture/valuables with care and where I wanted them to. They were careful not to damage the walls and it was clear they were professional movers. Overall, wonderful experience and I would recommend their services.
