My 3 1/2 year old shower had a mysterious leak into the kitchen below, discoloured floor tiles and grout, moldy and disintegrating caulking, and glass doors nearly impossible to keep clean and shiny. My DIY efforts weren't having much effect. I contacted several shower restoration experts through Homestars. All were personable, communicative, highly-rated. Quotes varied substantially, surprisingly. I decided on Ramiro because the detail and expertise of his description of what he would do was superb. Added to this was the impressive fact that every, absolutely every review was 10/10, with reviewers ecstatic with his work. Well, you can add my name to this list. He was able to come the day after I engaged him, arriving Monday at 9:45. He worked all day, non-stop, until 10:30 at night, stopping only to go out to purchase some hardware (for defective plumbing part parts). What did he do: he used a special alkaline cleaner to clean the shower immaculately (far better than my own efforts), removed all the moldy silicone, vacuumed up water (which other pros said was not possible) from the underlying concrete (with a special attachment), cleaned the glass doors and applied a special Diamon-Fusion treatment with a lifetime guarantee that the glass will never become dirty, regrouted floor/wall joints with epoxy grout, caulked the entire shower as well as around the marble frame on which the doors slid. In addition, he replaced the faulty connection from the hose to the shower head (probably the cause of the leak) from the initial installation 3 1/2 years ago, as well as gluing an additional round chrome bar to the existing (but too low) existing lip. At the end, he told me that the grout between the bathroom floor tiles was cracked and broken--because the floor under-surface had not been properly prepared--and said he could regrout with a flexible epoxy grout that would permanently solve the problem. I crouched down and saw for myself (I had never looked at the grout before) that the grout was broken and cracked. Well, that will be another job I will gladly have Ramiro do. So--an unqualified recommendation

Sorry this review is a few months late but needed to write a review on how extremely satisfied I was with the work that Ramiro did on cleaning and restoring my shower stall in November. I thought the whole thing needed to be gutted but Ramiro gave me a quote after having seen some pictures I sent him and reassured me it would look as good as new and he was RIGHT! He came on time was very pleasant to deal with and friendly. He worked on it for most of the day and not only restored the shower stall but cleaned the hot and cold taps and cleaned the bathroom floor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for grout cleaning and restoration.

Ramiro did an amazing job on my washroom! He cleaned the shower spotless and re-grouted the shower and tile floor so that they look like new. He’s thorough and detailed and an extremely hard worker. I was referred to him and would definitely refer him on.

I contacted a few companies for estimates on tile and grout cleaning and repairs and Ramiro contacted me back immediately. He was very friendly and professional and made the whole process very easy! At the house, he was very knowledgable and helpful with any additional suggestions to make the rooms look brand new again. His work was amazing and the before and after is beyond my expectations. What a treat to come home after a long day of work to the splendid results of Ramiro's meticulous cleaning/re-grouting/sealing of the kitchen and bathroom tile grout throughout our home! My husband and I were really impressed by Ramiro's expertise, attention to detail and thoroughness. When I arrived home he greeted me warmly and gave me all the information I needed to keep my tiles looking like new for years to come. I had mentioned to my husband that I would be grateful if Ramiro could also remove calcium stains on my bathroom sink taps and repair caulking from around the tub. He took extra time and effort to clean it so it looks brand new! He skillfully cleaned the soap build up from our shower wall as well. Our home is at least thirty years old but now the tiles look like they were just installed. Ramiro also encouraged me to contact him if we had any further questions. He spent well over 10 hours to complete a professional, thorough job. He was careful to clean everything up at the end of the day so that no further cleaning was necessary. As a teacher, I give him an A+!!

I wanted to replace the tile and Rimero told me not to, I can't believe the job he did, it is night and day, not only did he fix what we discussed but he went above and beyond and fixed some of the ones on the wall and caulked the sink in my sons bathroom , left the work area very clean when he left, I think anyone who has dirt or some mould in their shower needs to call ramiro. GREAT JOB

When we needed restoration in our Airbnb unit at our new location, we called Ramiro, as we used his services before. As always, he provided A+ quality service. This time he did bathroom restoration, kitchen floor re-grout, replace some broken tiles, and cleaned the carpet. We are extremely happy and certainly would recommend him to others.

Tigro did an excellent job of regrouting the grout in my bathtub and shower. They were very nice people as well. I'd recommend them. Our twenty year old bath looks brand new again. Thank you!

Several months ago, we discovered cracks in the grout and caulking in our shower that resulted in a leak in our kitchen ceiling. After several months looking for the right person, we found Ramiro and I'm certainly glad that we did! Ramiro repaired the cracks, sealed everything and cleaned the whole shower like new. He also levelled out the step into our shower so that water will not run out. Ramiro was a pleasure to deal with and he left the area spotless once the job was completed. I would not hesitate to use him again.
