My name is Ezaaz Saeed, I have been working in construction for 10 years. My interest in this field started early in my life, as I always enjoyed using my hands to build things. I went to Central Technical high school where I took specialized courses in carpentry. From there, I continued my journey and went to George Brown College to study Building Renovation Technician and established early skills in framing, flooring and drywall. After graduating, over the next 6-7 years I worked for construction companies in the GTA that provide home renovation services. Once I gained technical skills and had a considerable amount of work experience, I wanted to start my own business where I could establish a long-lasting working relationship with my clients. Since then I have been working on projects across the GTA which include full basement renovations as well as projects that specifically focus on flooring, drywall, and painting. I seek to provide affordable services and decent quality work within reasonable parameters. It always saddens me when I see or hear about basic stuffs around the house that people/families can’t afford to replace or get fixed. I find it often narrows down to the lack of understanding or lack of planning, sometimes both. It shouldn’t bankrupt you to find solutions for your home either. I grew up in a family where resources weren’t abundant, I adopted the mentality of if “I can’t buy it, I’ll learn to do it myself and do it well so I can do it for my family”.
