B W Doucette Roofing re-shingled my single family detached home in October 2023. This was the first time I needed to get a new roof, and frankly I know nothing about roofing. The company principal was courteous and comprehensive in describing the work involved, offered a reasonable quote, and prepared an itemized contract with clear steps which his crew followed to a tee. On the day of, they showed up at 7:30AM and were on the roof working a few minutes after that. At the end of the job they tidied up thoroughly and by 3pm you could not tell any roofers had been there, except for the new roof, which is remarkable considering it was just four guys swinging hammers (no nail guns). On inspection, the craftsmanship seems impeccable -- shingles are straight and the caulking is tidy, and the peaks are nicely capped. Needless to say, I would recommend this company to anyone.

Greg helped me out when no other roofers would even take the job. 11 years ago I had a flat roof system installed that was recommended on one of Mike Holms shows. The installer provided a lifetime warranty on the system as long as it was recoated every 10 years. In 11 years I paid a total of $34,000. The system was installed over my existing roof system, as it was considered environmentally preferable, it would help the new system and there would be no landfill waste. Before my first 10 years the roof was leaking in multiple areas of my house. The installer came out and recoated the roof. Once I got my roof recoated the coating was flaking off, ( looked like it was snowing on windy days). And it was still leaking, the installer let it leak for months causing lots of interior damage. ( saying there was nothing that could be done until we had warmer temperatures}. When he finally came out he blamed the leaking on a skylight that was nowhere near all the leaking and also sloped away from the leaks ( when does water travel uphill?). I had no confidence anymore in the product or the installer. I contacted multiple roofers. They came out and looked, told me how extensive the damage was and never got back to me with a quote. Until I contacted Greg at Doucette. Greg came out, realized the amount of damage, came back with the installer and they came up with a game plan as to what was needed for my roof. Unfortunately there was so much damage to my roof from the previous system that my roof was stripped completely and the majority of the plywood needed to be replaced, in fact one of the roofers actually fell through my ceiling while doing the repair as the roof was so rotted from the previous roofers neglect. Even my facia boards were rotten and my eavestroughs fell off. Juan and the team worked very hard over the time of the install, they came when expected and answered any questions I had on site. When unexpected costs came up ( eavestroughs, flashing, more plywood) Greg did his best to help me with the costs. I found them very reliable, had good communication, and worked hard. I had this work done last fall and with one winter passed I am very satisfied with the work they have done. Thank you Greg, Juan & team

I paid Greg and his team to install my roof. At first, the team seemed trustworthy with regards to his hand nailing and workmanship. The destroyer my Japanese maple tree, and Greg was it just a tree. Roof was installed in July 2022. Fast forward to December 2022, and the roof is leaking! Greg shows up and my wife says its leaking all over there and to his remarks dont over exaggerate. Greg is a very rude person who lacks customer service personally. Ameer. G

We had several quotes ranging from $3000 to $7000 to fix a leaking roof. None of them would have actually fixed our problem. Greg (Doucette) came and actually investigated until he found out where the problem was and then fixed it at a lower cost than any of the other estimates. Absolutely first rate.

Greg and his team have just completed the roof replacement on my house. I am delighted with the results. It looks great. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. Everything was clean and tidy after after each days work. I was communicated with regularly regarding scheduling and completing work. Doucette did our roof 16 years ago and now it was time to redo it. Greg came promptly to examine and evaluate. His suggestion was to strip it completely and reshingle. He gave us a fair estimate and showed the new state of the art shingles that will last 40 years. We accepted the offer and chose our color. After 2 weeks his team was in for the job as promised. They did a proper job of stripping and cleaning the roof. Layed the new shingles and replaced all roof vents. They covered the surrounding ground to collect debris. Work was completed in 2 days and they left the area very tidy and clean. Their work is guaranteed for 10 years. Very happy with the work done. Greg is easy to work with and is very helpful.

I originally had my roof done by a small contractor who did a very bad job. I was referred to Greg Doucette after that and he was so knowledgeable about the whole topic that I gave him the job to replace the roof. They did a great job with my roof ! Their warranty that they give was very good and not only that their after service has been amazing. If you have any questions or need anything you basically get the same day or next day service. Greg is such a humble and friendly guy. As a single woman I always get shafted by contractors but in this case I know I was getting great service.. Do not hesitate to contact Doucette Roofing if you need to have your roof repaired or replaced. They are the best. Greg you are a wonderful person and because of that you will always be successful.

Clean and efficient all shingles were hand nailed. The proper way great company to deal with. Will definitely use Doucette roofing again. Very difficult this day and age to find a reputable roofer

Our roof was in bad shape, way overdue to have the shingles redone. After getting 3 estimates done we found Doucette was the best price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job on the roof and it looks great! They were very though in cleaning up. Even cleaned out the eavestroughs & replaced the roof vents. We are very pleased with the work that was done. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their roof done.
