    Install Trane Furnace and A/C Plus Tankless Water heater

    Felt very comfortable dealing with Todd Button during our discussions on the choosing the proper equipment manufacturer and unit sizes for our home. He answered in detail all of my questions on the equipment that he recommended. Final pricing was extremely competitive with other contractor quotes. The crew under Mike's direction was professional, thorough and completed the work in the time frame quoted to me. They also answered all of my questions and spent time showing me the operation of each unit. Signed up for their annual maintenance program. Definitely would recommend this company to all.

    Kyle and Kris are FABULOUS INSTALLERS!!!!!

    THE WORK WAS DONE IN DURHAM, ONTARIO, NOT MISSISSAUGA, AS HOMESTARS WROTE TO THE LEFT. After hearing the funny Button's commercials on the radio, I decided to give Button's a call. It was very important for me to support a local business, not U.S. and with this pandemic, it's more important than ever, that these smaller companies survive and thrive! My old furnace survived for 19 years and my old a/c was over 25 years. On June 3, 2021, Kyle and Kris came to install a brand new Daikin a/c and Daikin furnace. They were both very courteous, polite and professional and had their masks on at all times. They were also very respectful of my home and the neighbours...not walking on their property and making me aware of any necessary noise in advance. They also put out runner mats throughout the house, to keep my broadloom clean. Kyle and Kris worked very well together and are NON-SMOKERS, which is FABULOUS! I was more than happy to order a pizza for them and provide lots of water & treats because they worked sooo hard (Covid safe, of course and they ate standing up and quickly got back to work). They arrived at 8:20 a.m. and left at 7:00 p.m. Everything was nice and clean when they left. It was a long day for them, but they were still very cheerful, right up to the last minute. After having THREE dud plumbers install one toilet and having THREE defective water tanks installed in my home in one month, by other companies, it sure was nice to have professional workmanship done for a change! Kyle and Kris, you ROCK!!! I have never had central air, and what great timing, when the next day, it was 32*c and it continues to be very humid! What a treat! You get what you pay for and I am hoping that I have MANY years of great service and use out of my new top of the line Daikin a/c and furnace! It's whisper quiet!!! I could have gone with an "under the table special", but I wanted GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE and NO HASSLES down the road. It's all about good customer service AFTER the installation AND I AM HOPING THAT THIS WILL FOLLOW WITH NO ISSUES! HAPPY SUMMER Kyle & Kris! Keep up the good work!

    Installation of HVAC System.

    Recently, we converted our 40 yr. old, 2 storey electric baseboard heated home to gas forced air. This involved adding ducts therefore, walls, ceilings and floors had to be opened up. The crew, Jonathan, Mike N, Ryan and Richard tackled the job with knowledge and skill, completing the project in 5 days. They were punctual, polite and tidy. They also worked very hard at keeping the damage to a minimum. The result is amazing, we now have a complete HVAC system. Todd Button, our sales rep. inspected the completed project, fully explaining how this system functions and instructed me on how to program the thermostat. Attached, are some photos of the exposed duct work and the repaired walls.

    Furnace, AC, Air Cleaner

    Excellent people and great service from Button’s with my new furnace, AC and air cleaner installation. Justin, Kyle and Scott are a perfect team of installers who are knowledgeable, professional and competent. They do their work with passion, care and efficiency. They showed up on time, put down dropsheets and completed work within the estimated time frame. All done within a day! After completing the work, they took time to explain the job done, patiently answered all our questions and left nothing behind. The cleanup was spotless. Thank you team for the job so we’ll done! It’s such a pleasant experience dealing with you. Thank you Mario for recommending the most suitable system for my house. We’re now enjoying a fresh cool home for the rest of the summer. I’ll definitely recommend Button’s to all my families and friends.

    Install New Hot Water Tank

    After reading many of the reviews on HomeStars, I was convinced to call Button’s Heating and Air-conditioning to install a gas hot water (my electric tank started leaking). Left a message on Wednesday night and they returned my call the next morning. Being an easier conversion (exterior wall is just behind the tank), Joe Button (Dad) gave me the estimate over the phone, including some recommendations (50 gallon tank). Once arrived Todd B. and John B. laid down the front runners (blankets) to protect the floor and started working immediately. They answered my questions and also asked me If I had any preferences ( I wanted the gas pipe routed between the joist for more head room). They are easily approachable and just all around professionals. They use top notch material like ball valves for the water lines and steel (flex) tubing to connect the gas. Nothing sub-standard there. An error code showed up while the tank was heating up. The diagnostics was that there was too much condensation, since the tank was filled with cold (winter) water. Both Todd and John said we stayed and extra 40 minutes to verify it wasn’t anything else. Once the tank heated up more, the error code went away. Like other have said, the price is fair (not cheap or expensive), but the piece of mind is well worth it. The price in the estimate was also the final price (which you don’t get very often with contractors).

    Central A/C Purchase & Installation

    I found Buttons while searching for a Central AC contractor. My first call was quickly returned by one of the managers. After helpfully answering some of my preliminary questions he referred me to Steve for an estimate. On the day of our appointment Steve phoned ahead to let me know he would be on-time; he was punctual and he was able to provide a list of suggestions. Steve Stefoff is highly knowledgeable. After his thorough home inspection we sat down to go over the options. As part of our discussion he provided immediate written estimates which were both reasonable and competitive. He provided full prices, including taxes and any applicable rebate offers. Our service installation was handled by Todd Button, Ryan, Mike and Mike on July 16 2012. They arrived on time and were ready to set to work immediately. Floor protection was laid down prior to the start of work. They took care to ensure the safety of any pets. They were polite and professional all the way. The removal of our old unit and the installation of the new AC went smoothly, and the job was fully completed in the time specified. Todd took me on a tour of the finished work. After, we sat down to go over after-care. He answered all my questions and made sure to leave Button’s contact information with me. There is something unique about a family-owned business (since 1977) that stands by its own name. From Steve’s estimates to Todd’s install, I found the dedicated staff at Buttons to be a cut above the rest. My experience with Buttons was a welcome reminder of what quality service still stands for. PS: our furnace was installed by Todd’s Uncle, Dean Button, in 1990. His signature is on the tags. This was a pleasant surprise to all of us! (The furnace has never given us any trouble.)

    Furnace, AC & tankless hot water system

    Todd was vary easy to work with, he went thought everything with us in detail from the start of the job to the end. Vary professional. Not the cheepest place, but you definitely Get what you pay for. The installation was done vary quickly and neat. 100% satisfied with the work that was complete in are home. Would recommend buttons to all of my friends & family. If I ever need anything new in the future I will defiantly be calling buttons again.

    Furnace

    Button's skilled staff came into our home and were very professional, they not only did a great job they went above and beyond the call and even did some extra caulking to our air-conditioning unit. I feel like I was given the five star service.

    Hot water tank replacement

    The people from the office were polite and helpful and the installers were awesome. They were friendly, open to questions and ensured our home was in good shape before they left. Awesome job!!!
