    great wholesaler

Grerat way to save money. You have to really be diligent and review and do your own investigation of prices. Bought a great sink and 40percent off the stores very happy

    Furniture

    1. Paid high premium to join. 2. Frustrating process of finding the goods - literally dozens of catelogues per category to sift through. Hundreds of fabric samples- most not updated for years. Delays in purchasing - waiting for fabrics 3. Hidden- likely retail- margin- rather than a fixed fee/product "handling fee"- ie to bring to warehouse- it is a percentage of sale price.... so a person buying a $10000 sectional, for example, pays much more than a person buying a $2000 sectional. Overall happy with the purchases. - process is a bit of a time waster to recommend to others- many redundant trips. The "handling fee" ought to be investigated against "no mark up" claims.

    Bedding

I ordered a great bed from Direct Buy. The savings were amazing, even better than what retailers get for wholesale. I have to say, I feel my membership is worth it.

    bath renos

very pushy when signing up membership. And unless you renovate a couple houses and put in over 50K in purchases, you won't save money with today's membership rates. They often charge shipping and handling at ridiculous rates and delivery to their warehouse takes 4-6 weeks which is very long if you missed ordering something for your reno project or ordered the wrong part. On top of that, you have to go back to the warehouse and pick it up yourself. I found several other places that sold bath fixtures at similar prices and then bath vanities at cheaper prices. Certain things are cheaper through Direct Buy, but I don't think it's worth it. Bottom line.. unless you spend over 50 - 60K there, you won't save money.

    Bought major appliances, sofas

Bought a variety of products from direct buy and while the deals are great, the service can be improved a bit especially when dealing with returns. Keep up the good work direct-buy.

    New membership for home furnishing

We joined DirecBuy a few years ago. What we have noticed is that their membership fees for new ppl has risen in the last couple of years and obviously they make a good profit as they were able to expand and move to a new building. The prices they offer are NOT ALWAYS the lowest. So I suggest you still do your research and shop around. We did buy appliances from them, they are cheap in that area, fridges and stoves.
