Tom is the best! I made the stupid mistake of calling three other companies before Tom and thank goodness they never called me back. I called Tom on the Thurs, he came for a quote on Sat and repaired the 10 wholes in my roof on the Sunday. Quick, professional and caring. I will recommend Mega City Roofing to family, friends and clients. Thanks for the great work guys! I wish I called you sooner.

I was very happy with my dealings with Mega City Roofing. When Tom came out to look at my roof for my estimate, he is the only company that actually took notice of plywood peeking through my old shingles. He suggested that I look in my attic for signs of the roof leaking and also checked for me when the roof was being replaced. (good news - no leaking) Tom was able to book my roof replacement really quickly due to the exposed wood. His crew was friendly and they were very clean. They laid tarps out around my house and covered my air-conditioner, rain barrel and windows to make sure no pieces fell in or against them. We needed to have our roof replaced as it was past its useful life as one can tell from the pictures. I had 4 or 5 companies come and provide an estimate. We had offers ranging from extremely low priced to ridiculously expensive. I cannot stress enough how important it is for one to do his homework BEFORE talking to contractors ! Do your research not only on the companies but also on the roofing process itself - what's involved, the most important terms and what they mean, materials used and the difference in quality etc. There is plenty of information on the web and you don't need to become a roofing expert but 3-4 hours of research will pay for itself many times over. The reason is that you must understand at least the basics of roofing so that when the estimators come you will understand what they are telling you and have an idea of what to expect. In short, here is why we went to Tom and his company MegaCity Roofing: - MegaCity responded to our request for a quote very promptly - Tom was very thorough in explaining every detail of the job and the different options we have with their advantages and disadvantages - He manages his own crew and no sub-contractors are used - MegaCity is registered with BBB with good standing - they have a very high rating on homestars.com - the important part here is that the ratings go back several years and are consistently good - the price was reasonable - we were not looking for the cheapest option anyway and were ready to pay a bit more for quality work (within reason) given the importance of the work We were not disappointed. Pretty much everything went as planned. - the work started on schedule - the crew was skilled and professional - we had two previous layers of shingles that had to be removed - so lots of waste came from the roof but the site was well prepared for the job - the clean-up job was outstanding - I found only 2-3 nails after the finish and they had fallen between the cracks of our back yard patio - Tom followed up to make sure that everything was fine a few days after completing the work. Great job and we would not hesitate to recommend this company to other people!

Had to replace my old roofing, from start of process which included interacting with insurance company was great. Helped from picking out proper type style and colour of shingles to promptly getting done. Great protection of surrounding property structures, efficiently done in one day. Cleanup for what was a messy job (very old crumbly shingles) was great. Overall experience was very good

We recieved a few quotes from different companies and they all looked like great options but there's so much information we had to gather and digest quickly and Tom was the most responsive. He even drove over to our house within an hour with some samples as we were texting back and forth trying to figure out what colours we were looking to go with. Even after winning the job his team really stepped up delivered. They arrived right when they said they would, set up right away and operated like a well oiled machine. Everyone know what their role was and went to work. They finished an entire 3000 sq foot house in 1-day and the quality of the work looks top notch. They found a hole in my garage and repaired it for me even though that wasn't part of the scope. Needless to say I was very appreciative of that. On top of all that, they were very communicative and kept me informed of what they were doing and what I should expect every step of the way. There's no buyers remorse here.

I called two of the top Home Star rated companies. Only Mega City bothered to call me back. Randy, the Estimator was at my house within minutes as they were in the general area. I agreed to go ahead with Mega City. Tom was polite, chatted and educated me on roof structures and shingle management while we watched the job being done. Not only did they do a fast and clean job removing three layers of shingles and installing the new shingles, Tom hunted down a mysterious leak I had in another part of the house and non-related to the job they were doing.. The water leak had eluded me for years and by using a hose over various sections, he found the leak. Tom also sealed some other areas identified as potential problem makers. He did not charge me for this extra service. For which I am most grateful. He and Jean (seen in the photo I took) were a pleasure to meet. The crew impressed me as well. How many years have I searched for professionalism and honesty? Too many!

I just had my roof done today and needed to get this review up ASAP. Tom showed up on time to do the quote and was very reasonable. What I liked most about Tom was he was honest, fair, personable but most importantly he cared that my needs were being met; oh and did I mention extremely knowledgeable! His crew showed up "early", they were all so polite and friendly. They did the job quick but with efficiency. They were truly professional. Cleaned up and was careful of my plants which I am truly thankful for. I really can't say enough about Tom and his team. They are truly wonderful group of professionals who know what they are doing and can be trusted to get the best! I would highly recommend Mega City Roofer's to anyone in need of roof work. Background. My wife and I had used Tom and Mega City Roofing before and were very happy with the job they did. But for reasons I can't explain, maybe temporary insanity, we decided to go with someone else to replace our shingle roof. We have an old tar and gravel flat roof that butts up against the sloped roof and to be fair the other roofing company said that would be a point of weakness and possible leaking. They promised that the job they would do would last a year until we could save up the money to replace the flat roof as well. Unfortunately, only a few weeks later the water was pouring into our daughter's room! Lot's of phone calls, emails and visits later there was still no willingness to fix their problem. Mega City. We knew the only real answer was to bite the bullet and replace the whole flat roof properly so we called Tom. It's been raining lately and the water was dripping into buckets in our daughter's room. Knowing our situation he was able to move some projects around and squeeze us in. Between rainy days! And he was very reasonable on the the price! His guys replaced more of the shingles than they needed to in order to do the the job right. And replaced the plastic turtle vents with higher quality metal ones to combat the squirrels. It's rained since then and I'm happy to say all is dry! I probably shouldn't admit this, but I've actually gone up a couple of times to admire my new roof. Ha! Thanks Tom!!

Mega City roofing did a great job or reroofing my house in 2008. The ten year guaranty covered recaulking around a difficult chimney and dormer, but I had a water leak again 13 years later. Tom of Megacity promised to come the following morning after the hard rain and recaulked the chimney and a sunporch roof that I had had installed after the 2008 roofing job.
