    Kitchen Reno

I wanted to drop you a line to say how extremely pleased we are with the installation of our new IKEA kitchen by PEG Reno. We've had a few bumps along the way with getting our cabinetry delivered on time, but the installation crew and the quality of work was outstanding. Please let the crew, and Alan who did the initial measurements and helped with the design, know how pleased we are with PEG Reno.

    Kitchen Renovation

I would like to thank Peg. Corp. for all their help with our IKEA kitchen reno. The quality of workmanship and level of detail Nike put into the installation was exceptional. My special Thanks to Nike, that I never seen that meticulous, organized and clean working person, on a project like that. It was a wonderful pleasure to know him. I would highly recommend PEG for the install, and I would hire them again for any installation project.

    Kitchen instilation,Flooring and Electircal work

Peg Co.  You truly have an amazing staff. At the top of my list is Michelle.  She has calmed me down from the stressful planning of having my Kitchen renovated. She reassured me from the beginning of my installation to the finished out come. When she showed up a few times to over see the kitchen instillation. I knew then that everything was going to go as plan.  I was very hesitant to continue using Peg. Co.When I learned that it was no longer being used by Ikea.  However, Michelle with her kind and calming voice. Put me at ease to go ahead with my renovation.  She re insure me with the demolition and the installation of the kitchen, flooring and the electrical work dates and followed up with my concerns. She helped to keep the installation dates to fit into my schedule.  Most of all she had sent me the best of Pegs team.  From Mark and his partner who did the tear out. Yury and Steven from Mesh Electric. Went above and beyond! With the electrical rough in to the completion of the electrical work. Steve is a very pleasant person who enjoys having a conversation on various topics. While he worked the both of us talked until the job was finshed. Both Yury and Steven did a fantastic job installing lights in my cabinets and changing my old electrical box! Mr Nazeum who came to do the drywall repair turned out to be someone who lives in my neighborhood. Who I wouldn't have met. If not for having my Kitchen renovated. He is a kind soft spoken person. Who knows his trade. Through his knowledge and trade.I wish now that I had vented out the hood fan to outside. Sabi and his brother who did the flooring were amazing as well. My flooring and baseboards looks great! The day's of the flooring installation we also had great conversations.  I can go on and on about Peg's team. From the kitchen cabinets installation to the reconciliation of the sink. But I will keep my note short.  I am very happy and it's very satisfying to know that Peg has a great team.  Michelle set up the best workers to complet my kitchen renovation!

    IKEA Kitchen reno

Abdul did an awesome job with the plans he was given. Originally, we noticed the space for the oven was missing. We got that corrected. Everything needed to be shifted to one side for some odd reason which took an additional day for the work to be completed. After the work was done, I had to get Alan back in to fix my bookcase. The guy he sent with the correct shelves noticed the kick plates weren't installed properly so he corrected that for me. I'm mixed about PEG. Its very difficult to get a hold of anyone when you call them but when they do arrive, they do an excellent job. I understand that there was an IKEA kitchen sale, so if you can time your renovation when they aren't having a sell, then I think PEG would be easier to get a hold of.

    IKEA Kitchen install

From purchase at IKEA to installation by PEG....EXCELLENT experience! I would highly recommend PEG for the install. Even after shopping around for installation services elsewhere, PEG actually came out competitively and you also get peace of mind being recommended by IKEA. No fuss, no mess...just quick and efficient assembly and installation work!

    Kitchen Installation

I recently helped my parents renovate their kitchen. Although we used a different contractor for most parts of the project, the IKEA kitchen was installed by PEG. Our experience with them was very good. The price was as quoted (which was very reasonable). The measurement rep, installation team and office staff were all very friendly, professional and efficient. There were a few minor hiccups after installation and the service call was scheduled and completed within 48 hours which was very much appreciated and goes to their desire to provide excellent service. We would highly recommend using their services.

    Kitchen Renovation in North York

Just finished our kitchen renovation with Peg Corporation and are absolutely thrilled with the final product. Had an amazing team working on my project, who knew what they were doing and were responsive to my calls, emails and questions. Renovations require that both parties be open, honest and respectful. I found that if I was respectful to my team, they gave me 110% of their effort and worked hard to make the end product beautiful. If you are an active participant in the renovation and are on top of all the details, you will have a successful project. Thank you again PEG for your service and great crew.

    Kitchen Renovation 2015

The reno started in April of 2015 and was completed in September, just in time for our 40th Anniversary. We went on to have a Baby Shower Open House in January and our daughter's wedding in May of 2016. Each event had 95 to 140 guests and the kitchen was the center of attention at all of them. Everyone loved the look and are totally amazed when we tell them they are IKEA cabinets installed by PEG. All were very impressed with the utility of the cabinets, the workmanship and the look. We could not be happier with our new kitchen and PEG's installers and customer service were a big part of it. Because of IKEA delays supplying all the parts of our cabinets before the initial install (completed in 3 days), PEG had to return twice to complete various parts. All the installers we worked with were very professional, fast, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely use PEG again.

    40 year old Kitchen Renovation!

I have been meaning to write this review for month about how great Peg Corporation is. I called Peg to help with my parents kitchen IKEA renovation in July of last year 2019 and I was so impressed with their services. My parents had not renovated their kitchen in 40 YEARS!!!! I wanted to use Peg with my own IKEA kitchen renovation but didn't know about them till after but I needed a full renovation company that can do it all from design to install to finished product, so when my parents started showing interest in renovating I called them. Alan, the owner of the company, came quickly to give us a free consultation, he was so kind and professional especially since my parents didn't want to spend much and had no idea what to expect. He gave them 3 options he saw from just looking at their kitchen which all made total sense. He spent so much time at our house and never rushed us, he was so knowledgeable and helpful. He took measurements of the kitchen and after our consult we paid Alan to come up with an IKEA design for us, for $350.00 Alan uses the IKEA planner and came up with some excellent designs, he even was able to figure something out nobody saw, to move the fridge into a closet that housed a duct and that allowed us to open up the whole kitchen! You can't get a design for a kitchen cheaper than this! The IKEA design site is hard for anyone without design experience to use and because of Alan's experience he knew exactly what sizes, dimensions, and suggested what type of cupboards and how deep to use. He spent so much time on the phone with me going back and forth to perfect the design. I also spent many hours on the phone with Michelle, the office administrator and IKEA KITCHEN EXPERT! She was so knowledgeable, helpful, kind and not pushy for us to go with Peg. On top of that, if you go with Peg, they will actually (for a small fee) order all the IKEA kitchen for you. I WISH my parents had gone for this feature, but they didn't and we spent about 10 hours in IKEA and back and forth NUMEROUS times after to buy parts and return parts. Also, they can do a full renovation including floors, countertops, structural, electrical, plumbing. Or they can just do an IKEA build and install. Again, for a fee that was totally reasonable they would order and build and install the IKEA cabinets. My dad of course being super old school decided to do most of the work with a contractor/friend and didn't hire PEG to do the build and install. I again WISH he had, he spent a full week plus putting together cabinets and going back and forth to IKEA! Peg can build and install in about 2 days. My dad also developed sciatica from all the heavy lifting and building and awkward positioning. I asked him after if it was worth saving the money.... I'm still waiting for an answer! :) Either way, it got done, the design from PEG was incredible and their 40 year old kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I was so impressed with PEG I would recommend them to anyone interested in an IKEA kitchen, if not for the full gut and renovation then for the design and consult, for the ordering and installing. They were even willing to work with my dad and do part of the work and he could do the other parts. They were so flexible and willing to work with us to make my parents happy. It was a pleasure getting the design and learning SO much about IKEA that no rookie IKEA kitchen installer would know. Just because IKEA offers the design plan online, don't think that just anyone can put together an IKEA kitchen!!! Call Peg! Thanks from Dalia, Jeffrey & Brenda! :)

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for the glowing review, Dalia. It was our pleasure to design your parent's kitchen and pleased to hear you love the way it turned out.

Hit and miss experience with PEG

We had a hit and miss experience with Peg. It started really positively and ended just...meh. The work itself is nice, and we're happy with the kitchen. It just took a lot of effort to get to the completion stage, and the miscommunication that happened throughout was off-putting, and we wouldn't use them again. Positives: initial walkthrough good, clear timelines and line by line proposal, nice contractors who were respectful of our space. Negatives: poor communication as the project proceeded, inconsistent handoff between contractors and the office staff who managed the project, which included misquoting costs Our initial walk through was great - we got a lot of work quoted from them and Allan was very detailed in his assessment of what needed to be done. We had a kitchen planning session at Ikea, where Allan provided measurements for the countertop and adjusted our plans. We were happy to proceed from that point, and we had a lot of back and forward after that with Michelle to identify the work we were going to prioritize, and the timelines for that. We scoped down the project to just do the kitchen to get it done by the holidays and agreed we'd revisit some of the other work before signing a contract. I'm really glad we did that instead of committing to doing our kitchen, bathroom, and stairs with Peg. As the work commenced, there was some disconnect between the initial conversations we had with Allan, and then with some of the contractors who came in to do the work, and it took a lot of conversation to ensure we were all on the same page. The electrician and the countertop person had to come multiple times because they weren't scheduled at the right times, the countertop that we'd had an initial quote for based on Allan's initial measurements ended up costing double, because Allan's initial measurements weren't passed on to the countertop company at the time of quote, the cabinet people didn't install the cover pieces we'd discussed as noone had told them to do that, and when the drywall people took down our old architraves and door trims, we were asked if we wanted Peg to replace them, said yes, and then this just didn't happen until we chased it. For the first 4 weeks we got lots of communication about any changes to the schedule or the timeline and had a lot of back and forward about the above details. As we approached the end of the project, that communication faltered. I found myself having to chase up answers and updates. The majority of the work was due to be completed the week before Christmas. I had a conversation with Michelle on the phone where she said she was trying to get someone out to do the last bits of work before the holidays, and she'd get back to me. Then I had radio silence for two weeks. Noone answered the office phone, emails, there was no out of office message saying they were on a holiday shut down. Then there was no acknowledgement or apology that they left us hanging and ignored all my voicemails and emails. The work finally got done, 4 weeks after it was supposed to, but even that wasn't smooth as between our initial walkthrough and the final finishing touches, Peg forgot what we'd agreed and had to redo the work. We didn't have a final walkthrough on their work before final payment, and by that point we were just done with them and a few small details, like poorly applied sealant and misaligned trim, we have dealt with ourselves to just call it a day and be done.
