Initially we had gone to a big box store with our budget, but it seemed like we were just another number and the requests and needs that we wanted, just felt like we were being upselled the entire time. For a significant purchase we were given a few minutes elsewhere, but with Edward, he gave us over an hour of dedication, understood what we wanted, and met all our needs and requests and answered all of our many questions. We will definetly be back to work with Edward for our next purchase of a fireplace in the near future.

We went to see Edward at Classic Fireplace and Lifestyle at Rylander Blvd. All I can say is if you want exemplary service and wonderful recommendations, and great advice - go and see Edward. We purchased 3 fireplaces and a Big Green Egg from Edward. Whatever the ranking is on here. 8/5 stars. 15/10 stars. 5/5 and 10/10 do not do Edward justice. We changed our minds a couple of times and Edward worked with us to find our final solution. It was an amazing experience. Thank you Edward. 100 times over. If you need a fire place or barbecue do yourself a favour and go and ask for Edward. Tell him Rob and Shelly sent you!!

Our experience when purchasing a BBQ from Classic Fireplace in Scarborough was a very positive one. Babz was extremely knowledgeable about the available products and very friendly to deal with. I highly recommend this business.

I have successfully dealt with Classic Fireplace for about 15 years, most recently the Ajax location. We had custom fire doors created for our gas log , 100 year old fireplace hearth. Naturally there were some quirks and adjustments needed after installation. Stephen was the tech that came to try and remedy the issues. His level of service was outstanding. He persevered to creatively problem solve the issue coming up with the solution in a pleasant, knowledgeable and in a professional manner. Thank you.

Huge shout-out to the team at Classic Fireplaces! Karen who helped answer a bunch of questions, coordinated teams and sourced a fireplace remote that I wanted. Travis who cleaned up and repaired 3 fireplaces, and who took the time to explain what was happening. John and Matt who cleared out my clogged vent and fixed the problem quickly while educating me on fireplace venting. Not only was everyone professional and knowledgeable, they were also friendly, and a pleasure to work with. Two of our three fireplaces stopped working this winter. The units are over 20 years old and had never been serviced. It is the first time weve used Classic Fireplaces and we will be going back to them for future maintenance and repairs. I would highly recommend them!

Our 20-year-old Valor fireplace insert had finally given up and we wanted a replacement. I contacted the Classic Fireplace and was so impressed with the company. They answered all my questions, came to the house to measure and gave me various options for the new insert. The installation was quick and very clean and we have been enjoying the fireplace ever since. I would HIGHLY recommend their services to everyone.

The finish on the trim of our Valor fireplace doors was starting to chip off, however we were informed it was well past the warranty period for our 2018 model and the cost to replace the whole door unit was ~$1K. Despite being over the warranty, Bruce at Classic Fireplace went to bat for us with Valor and got them to approve a warranty claim for this door defect even though fireplace was >5 years old. Classic came out to install the new doors quickly and without issue, and we couldn't be more pleased with the service from end to end provided by Bruce and Classic Fireplace!

Edward and Steve expertly guided us through the whole process. We deeply appreciated their professionalism along with their very personal touch as they served us. We look forward to referring other people to them whenever possible. We absolutely love the finished product!

Needed help with my remote control. Karen and Nicole saved the day! Karen came over and showed me how to change the batteries at the end of the day on the last day before Christmas break. This is not the first time that Classic Fireplace has been very helpful to me. Cant be more grateful!

We recently purchased two new gas fireplaces from the Scarborough location and have been thrilled with the quality of sales and installation. Bruce was terrificly patient guiding us through the purchase decision and even talked us into going with a smaller more appropriately sized and of course cheaper unit for our den. Our installers Adam and Brad did an amazing job tearing down two old monster fireplaces, installing the new units and then framing and finishing the new units. They were extremely professional. We couldn't be happier with the end result.
