    Furnace Water Leak Fixed

We recently moved into a new (old) house with a high efficiency furnace. There was water accumulating on the floor just beside the furnace. The Appliance Doctor, Jason came in to diagnose the problem. The levelling was off where the water flowed away from the drain instead of toward it. Since Jason levelled the unit, the leaks have stopped. Jason showed up on time, was within budget and explained how the furnace worked and what to watch out for in terms of maintenance and monitoring. Thanks Jason for your help. Now my laundry room is dry and mold free.

    Fridge Repair

I bought a house that came with a fridge. A few months after purchasing the home I decided to plug the fridge in and try it out, with no success. The fridge would power up but not cool down. I called the appliance doctor and they arrived the same day - quick service seeing that everyone else was booked. It turns out that the fridge was not cooling down due to the fact that the home's thermostat was set to under 10 celsius (something to do with a sensor) I suppose the repairman, if he really wanted to, could have claimed it was something else that was borken and charged me plenty to fix. He didn't, he was very honest and truthful with me and for this I am really appreciative. By the way, Tracy, the woman who works at the office was very nice to me over the phone. Thanks, Appliance Doctor!

    Side By side Refridgerator

I had called with a question regarding the defrosting process and James answered my question without coming over and charging me a service fee, he was right on the mark with his answer. When my fridge did need service I called The Appliance Dr, his service fee was lower then most, he fixed the problem reasonably and quickly. I have positive things to say about The Appliance Dr and would recommend their services to anyone.

I needed a repair on my washing machine, because it stopped draining.

After calling a company that left me feeling PO'd at their attitude, it was nice to speak to someone at this company that answered the phone properly and was positive and friendly. They were able to fit me in that day and made the repairs without any mess or fuss. The technician, James, Was very professional and nice to talk to.

    Dishwasher install/repair

Getting these guys to the house was a little odd - their phone has no outgoing message, just a beep and you leave your name. That was the end of the oddness, though - someone called me back within the hour and booked me a repair guy for the next day to install my new dishwasher. Price was consistent with what I saw elsewhere - maybe $20.00 higher, but their tech was available much sooner. When our installer arrived, he asked what was wrong with the old machine, and suggested that the other repair guy (who came highly recommended) was wrong, and asked if he could quickly look at the dishwasher. He then fixed the dishwasher for us, saving us the cost of a new machine. Phew! Thanks to his honesty, I'm not out $300.00 for a new unit, and the dishes in my house are clean again.
