After running our 40 year old Rheem air conditoner last summer, we quickly realized that it barely cooled our home and we were stuck with a $700 utility bill for the month of August. Needless to say that was the last time it was turned on. We receieved three quotes and decided to go with Hydro-Flo partly based on price but mainly based on service. Incidentally, they sell Rheem as well, so we figure if it lasts half as long as the old one we'll have gotten our money's worth. An added challenge was that our old A/C was mounted on the roof and we wanted to keep it up there due to the narrow amount of space we have between our neighbour and it also helps with the noise. You can barely hear it while it's running since its not right outside your bedroom window. With that factored in, they quickly pulled together a quote for us and we set up a date to start the install. It was mid-late April so we had to give it a few weeks for the weather to warm up. The guys showed up right on time and got to work. It took a bit of wrangling but we managed to get the unit up onto the mounting bracket on the roof and they got to work hooking it up. They had some sheet metal work to do in the basement and also the existing line set had to be replaced because it wasn't compatible with air conditioners built in this century. After the install was complete it still wasn't warm enough to pressure up and test the system so we had to wait another couple weeks for the weather to cooperate. After everything passed muster we fired up and it worked just as we had hoped. We also got them to replace our old thermostat with a digital one (so much better). Only after we everything was complete, did they send us the bill. I was expecting a higher price than we were quoted since I'm not sure they anticipated replacing the line set and the extra work that went along with that, but I'm happy to say they stuck to the quote and we gladly paid our invoice. I'd also like to add that my very pregnant wife (and I) appreciate how clean everything was at the end of the work day. The guys cleaned up after themselves and kept everything neat and tidy. We couldn't have asked for a friendlier company to do business with. Thanks Todd, James, Tammy and whoever else helped out!

During the move in if our new home we noticed the hot water was not working. After a brief search I called Hydro Flo and explained the situation and sent Tyler a picture. He had a technician come within hours to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately parts had to be ordered but he had them early the next morning and had arranged for another technician to come and install them. Both technicians were very knowledgeable and friendly and had the work completed in a timely manner with no cleanup left for me, which made our move much easier.

Timely response. The team that came to do the install worked well together and provided quality work. 100%.

This team was amazing. I asked them for some new heat pump technology and they immediately provided options. I was worried about how a new unit could fit; and they immediately put my concerns to rest. The installation team agreed that the space was tight but they happily accepted the challenge and helped me get the biggest unit available to provide me low cost water heating and reliable warm showers for the 2 units in the house.

Hydro Flo did a superb job installing our air conditioning unit. They reviewed placement options, and kept me updated throughout the day on how the install was progressing. They provided an orientation on the maintenance and operation of the unit, and they clean up very well. I would highly recommend Hydro Flo. They have not ever disappointed, and it is obvious that customer service is very important to them.

I was concerned that there could be a blockage in the sewer line leading from the house. The technician Sam arrived on site bright and early, after a courtesy phone call. From the moment he entered our home, his demeanour was friendly and professional, and customer focused. He was knowledgeable and competent, and took pains to protect the carpet by using a drop cloth as he worked. His passion for his craft was impressive. I watched on the screen as the camera relayed video of the sewer line, and I was relieved to see that theres no problem in the line.

Had to call a plumber over the weekend due to a leak we found under our bathtub. Caleb was sent over within an hour or so and we had a great experience with him. He was courteous and professional, and explained our issue to us really well. Would call them again if we need any repairs.

Our technician arrived exactly on time and quickly diagnosed a minor problem that we believed to be a much bigger issue. He was able to solve our problem easily and quickly. The technician was professional, kind and obviously cared about his work and his performance. We were very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Hydro Flo ! Good work, Well Done!

We had a sewer back up into our furnace room floor drain on a Saturday late morning. Much distress as we knew a lot of plumbing companies are closed on the week-ends! We started calling companies that were listed as open and available for emergencies 24/7. Most of the ones we talked to couldn't get someone out to us until really late until we got to Hydro Flo. We were very distressed by this time but were assured that their service team could be here within an hour - much relief. They came, reamed out our sewer line and we were good to go. Thanks so much for your prompt response to our distressing emergency - it was very much appreciated!
