Michael refinished our 30 year old Rosewood table and did an outstanding job. He was a pleasure to work with, did what he said he would do and did it on time. I would highly recommend him.

What an absolutely incredible team! I took in a significant amount of furniture to be stripped and re-stained (dining room table and chairs, a large hutch, home office furniture, and an armoire). It was a bright cherry colour that I was no longer a fan of. I asked Michael to change the colour to something more modern and brought in a shelf from a different piece to give him an idea of what I was looking for. Michael went out of his way to research this stain and match it. It was dead on!!! Our furniture came out better than I ever expected. The entire process was so much fun. I got to go in, see how it’s done, learn about staining, and best of all, the results exceeded my expectations. Thank you guys for everything!

We are so very happy with this company....professional, great price and the job they did was absolutely fantastic, finished ahead of schedule!!! 8 old chairs I love....are now beautiful restored. Excellent customer service skills....I will definitely recommend to anyone!!

We moved recently and we had a Duncan Phyfe table where the leg was broken. We took to Sandra Dee to get it fixed. Mike explained what needed to be done, and he even made a custom vice to hold the leg on when the glue set. When we picked up the table you would never know that it had been damaged. If you have any wood furniture to be refinished or fixed, take to Sandra Dee you will not be disappointed. This is our third item we have had done by Sandra Dee's. Customer service is great and the price is great.

I was lucky enough to inherit my Grandparents bedroom suite that they had bought in the 1940's. It was made of mahogany and over the years from moves , smoke and even heating their first house by coal it was a dark chocolate colour, with many marks and gouges but still in great shape. It meant the world to me as it was my grandparents bedroom suite and they had raised me from a boy, but also the connection to them made it extra special. I took it over to see Michael at Sandra Dee furniture refinishers and he immediately told me how beautiful and rich the wood was in the furniture. He said this is really a handcrafted piece and he would make it look like the day it was bought all over again. I was delighted and asked him to do his magic. He came and collected all the items and carried them out of the house and everything, I had had surgery for a torn rotator cuff and couldn't even help with a drawer my shoulder and arm were so sore, and wrapped them up in blankets for the ride back to his shop. I would call and stopped by twice to see how things were progressing only to see the real wood exposed and how beautiful they truly were. Many of the pieces had to be sanded by hand as it was carved by hand and too delicate for a sanding device. When I finally got the call to come and see the finished items, I absolutely could not believe how beautiful and stunning the furniture was. I could not remember the furniture ever looking different from how I sent it to Michael, now it looked like I had never seen it ever. The grains in the wood and the rich colour of the mahogany made it look a reddish colour and the richness of the wood came blasting right thru. I was so happy and emotional that it looked so great, and knew my grandparents would be so happy, I started to cry. I could cry again as I write this review as it still makes me miss and think of my grandparents. If you have furniture that you "love" or is just something you want to look like a million dollars, or look like it was just made again, please follow my path and send it to Sandra Dee furniture refinishing. You will not be disappointed in the least and getting to knowing Michael has become a honour. His love of his craft and the care he takes are 2nd to none. A really great man with a huge heart and love of his skill and your furniture will be transformed like magic. I would recommend him to everybody in the world, truly. I recently picked up a table I had left with Sandra Dee's and am so thrilled with the finished product. It is a 60-year old solid wood table that my parents were given as a wedding gift. Over the years, they must have painted it 5 times! It's a lovely table with a lot of carvings and nooks and crannies and Michael and team made it a thing of beauty. Couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company (and Michael - very pleasant!)

Michael fixed a broken table leg that I thought was damaged beyond repair. He placed a wooden rod inside the old leg and glued everything in such a way as to make the break invisible. He is meticulous in his work and always a pleasure to chat with. I have had several other pieces refinished, repaired, and reupholstered by Michael and have been very happy with his work on all of them. I recommend him highly. The only downside is that he's in such high demand that there is a waiting list for his services. So contact him sooner rather than later!

We had 3 old tables refinished by Sandra Dee's. She came and gave us reasonable quotes, told us when they could do the projects and how much it would cost. They lived up to exactly everything they promised. Michael did the work and we are very satisfied with the results. Our old family tables are now in great shape.
