I needed Ostaco replacement glass. After 6-7 weeks and numerous phone calls to the service department, I finally found out that they do not deal with replacement glass that's out or warranty. Absolutely appalled by their service.

The crew from Ottawa Windows and Doors was excellent. Mark gave us a quote in the showroom and then came out to the house to do some measuring and discuss the project in more detail. When it came time for the work, we had a plumber, a mason, and 2 installers at the house. Everyone was professional, tidy and took pride in the job they were doing. The big part of our project was a brick cut down in the kitchen to change 3 windows into a new sliding patio door. Besides that, we had a bedroom window, a kitchen window, and an existing sliding patio door replaced. We are very happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend them to others.

We had French doors installed where our old dining room window was and a new back door installed. Ottawa Windows and Doors were very good and would not take our deposit money until the job was complete. The doors are installed very nicely and seem to be of good quality. They came when they said they would show up and the project was done in a very quick time frame.

After 25 years (8 with broken seals) we decided to replace our front window. We check a couple of local companies and then decided to get one more price. We ended up at Ottawa Windows and Doors, mainly because they are one of the few that are open on Saturday. We met with Rob who explained the pros and cons of the windows we were looking at. He also explained about the glazing available - the first time we had heard of it. We received our quote in less that a week and when we called Rob, (Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. he arrived at our house around 7:00.m. to measure up. Our window was installed less than one month later. Sharon Wood, the Admin Assistant was in constant contact with us to let us know the installation date, etc. The installers, Benji Eckford and Dennis Perras were excellent - leaving the outside and inside neater and cleaner than when they arrived. A red carpet was laid from the front entry to the window, so no dirt was left on the carpet and our couch and nearby table were draped with plastic so no dust was found when they left. If you are looking for new windows I would not hesitate to go to Ottawa Windows and Doors at 60 Colonnade Drive in Ottawa. We are already thinking about replacing a few more windows in the fall. Excellent service from the day i walked in the showroom to finishing touches on the installation. This was a one window project that involved adding a large window to a load-bearing structual brick wall. Jeff Gibson was exceptional to deal with and very accomodating as new challenges came up with the project. Tim and Harrison did a fantastic job with the installation and finishing. Will definitely use Ottawa windows and doors again for future projects.

Complete cut out of patio door into our house, where a window was before and new side door. Satisfied with sales and install work and products from start to finish. After the service sale was excellent--through no fault of own came back to look at a problem, and within a day fixed to 100% satistfaction. Would recommend.

While it makes sense to do one renovation at a time, it can be a pain when you only want one window replaced. I contacted several window companies when doing this renovation and told them I wanted one window done. Ottawa Windows and Doors was the only one that didn't go on and on trying to get me to replace more in my house. I appreciate people like Jeff Gibson who listened to what I wanted and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. He treated me professionally and didn't talk down to me because I'm female. My window is perfect...exactly what I asked for. We've replaced all our windows, but there are few doors to go next. I'll be sure to call Jeff when we are ready to purchase.

Ottawa Windows and Doors were extremely meticulous when installing the windows in my home. They were very clean while they worked. Prior to coming, they kept me updated to when they were coming and were overall extremely informative. The estimate was the exact end cost. I would highly recommend the company.
