    Lawn Care & Maintenance
    They did a okay job on the lawn (though frequently broke lights and weed whacked a blueberry bush until dead). They overcharged me by quite a bit, refused to show receipts and bills, and never settled up after I showed them the final tally where they owed me money. I would not recommend this company.

    Great job, but overcharged me double and refused to reimburse

    The actual work (about 6 months of lawn service) was great, but when I paid via etransfer, they didn't keep records. They sent me a bill for the work, I let them know I was fairly certain that I had paid already and asked them to give me an invoice with the dates they had come by. They refused and continued sending me bills and selling we daily for over a year. I finally got them to send me an invoice, matched it up with my bank records, and it turned out I had overpaid them by almost $400. The calls then stopped and they have not answered any requests for repayment.

    North Vancouver lawn recovery project

    Ryan has been very responsive from our first meeting to arrange for a quote of our beetle infested back yard. He has demonstrated both competence and pride in his work, and he and his crews have been very hard working and effective so far. The final proof will be in how our lawn (and beetles!) respond to his treatments, and i will update this review in the fall, but so far i am very pleased with Ryan and Seymour Lawn Maintenance, and would recommend him without reservation.

    Garden refresh and tree trimming

    Ryan and his teams were responsive, hardworking and detailed. In our backyard, their careful handtrimming of a giant messy laurel and some overgrown trees in an awkward location really opened up our view. Our neighbours were pleased with their work and their communication as well. A second team came for a full day of front yard work. They did a great job pulling out unwanted shrubs, reshaping and edging all of our garden beds, adding good soil, landscape fabric and mulch, and even planting in some new plants that they recommended and we picked up. Full job done well, on time and on budget. Thanks to Ryan for checking in to make sure all details were to our liking. We're recommending Seymour Lawn to neighbours and friends!

    Finish spoiled the work.

    When Ryan came to give a quote for our autumn clean up, I felt he understood what we needed and would do a good job. However, he did not seem to communicate our requirements very well to the team he sent who arrived not sure about what the job entailed. I had to walk the guy in charge through our requirements and they got on with the job. They arrived without a weed eater which was delivered after I phoned Ryan to tell him. The person who did the cutting back and hedge trimming etc worked well on the whole but the person who was cleaning up after him did a rather poor job. He picked up the obvious big rubbish but I expected him to rake over the area that was cut to remove leaves and sticks which had fallen to the ground. At one stage he blew leaves along the lane to deposit them in front of a neighbours property. I emailed Ryan after I discovered the problems when I inspected the work listing the problems I had found. To his credit he sent the team back with the list but they still did not fix all the problems and gave me no opportunity to check the result before they left. I have since removed a bucketful of ivy and hedge clippings which were not removed. The final overall result was satisfactory and I appreciate the quick return to try and put things right, which is why I have given 3 stars. My message to Ryan is that he needs to communicate better with the people who are actually doing the work. Lyn

    Hi Lyn, we appreciate the business and appreciate your feedback. i have dealt with my newer assistant and explained the importance of the "little things" that will turn a decent job into a great job. He is learning what is that we expect and will do so as we have high expectations for everything we do. That is why we cleaned up the little things right away and i offered to come for another visit to help with any leaves at no charge. It also didn't help that we were booked in on the only day we had 80 km windstorms which made it very difficult to get everything just right. We are extremely reliable so we always come when we say as we know people have set time aside for this and no one could have predicted this weather.

    New Lawn and treatment of beetles

    Seymour Lawn maintenance was a life saver for our lawn. After bad experiences with two other companies attempting to remedy our beetle problem we were out thousands and our lawn was no better off. Ryan at Seymour Lawn was refereed to us by fiends and we gave them a chance. From the outset I could tell Ryan knew what he was talking about and had experience with this same beetle problem. His crew was there with in 24 hours to start the project. Each step of the way someone from Seymour Lawn let us know what was going on, the price and how long it would take. My lawn has never looked better and they did it for a fraction of the cost of the other companies. We continue to use Seymour Lawn to date and recommend them to anyone who will listen.

    Garden and Lawn Maintenance

    Ryan and his team completely met and exceeded my expectations! They were efficient with their work and and very reasonable with the cost. They took the time to listen to what I wanted done and completed the job on time! I look forward to doing future projects with Ryan and his team.

    New lawn and yard maintenance

    Finally someone who cares about quality and professionalism at a competitive price. Ryan and his crew were super helpful and knowledgeable and even though there were a couple of small items that needed tweeking, their response was quick and everything was then completed to our satisfaction. Great work fellas!!

    Landscaping, tree work and garden maintenance

    I have found this company to be reliable, prompt and reasonably priced. The owner is very knowledgeable and his team both talented and respectful. I am very pleased with all of their work, whether a small or large job, and will continue using them for many years to come.

    Lawn and garden maintenance

    Ryan and his team have been managing our lawn and gardens for over 10 years and he has always provided prompt, reliable and competitive services. Greatest strength? He’s fair. If a mistake happens Ryan makes good on it immediately.
