In early spring 2016, I contracted QEW to insulate the outside walls in 2 of our bedrooms as the rooms were always cool to walk into. A neighbor had originally recommended them to me as they had done some work for her. Once the framing was complete and the insulation added with vapor barrier then drywall, it was all painted nicely and new trim added around the windows and new baseboards, even new carpet in one of the rooms. The 2 main workers along with the Foreman Wes were very nice, showed up early every day and often stayed quite late to finish a particular task. I watch a lot of construction shows such as Holmes Makes it Right & Leave it to Bryan etc., so I was very aware of how it should be done properly and QEW did follow the right procedure. We were very happy with the finished product, so I asked Saverio the owner to quote me on an attached garage. My son was not happy with the original quote as it was just one paragraph on a pink form and it was an expensive job. On mentioning this to Saverio, he sent me a proper quote within a couple of days with every single thing outlined clearly. The only other issue that my son had was with the framing of the garage roof. He did not like the way it had been done even though it had passed the inspection, but that was also fixed to our satisfaction. The crew that worked on the garage were great. Very nice guys who were here by 7:00 a.m. every morning and worked hard into the evening, plus they cleaned up the site every night before they left. Wes was also the Foreman on this job. Recently QEW Contracting did a full basement apt renovation and we were SO HAPPY with the finished product. They were so incredibly helpful, efficient, kept to timelines (so important to us) were mindful of our household space when it came to noise and clean up! Offered help and solutions with actual remodel footprint. Highly recommend there work with kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, lighting and electrical - hands down, some of the best folks to work with!

After multiple quotes and interviews with the most highly rated contractors, Savario was the only one who seem to understand our requirements and helped us achieve what we had in mind within our budgets. His team delivered on time, the job was finished in the time frame promised, quality is unmatched and end result beyond our expectations. Best of all, didn't have to worry about clean up. Every day we got home from work, it did not look like a messy construction site. His crew was even so careful as to replant the garden they had to move and made sure they kept the plants watered regularly so they didn't die. Customer service we received would get a 100 out of 10. Very professional. Well planned as all fixtures and tiles chosen well in advance. Since it is a small space, the skilled tradesmen came on a set schedule. They all had great respect for the contractor and each other. No mess at the end of each day. Any changes were addressed promptly with our consultation. We have a beautiful white bathroom with a walkin shower. No half job at all. Impressed. Yes, we would used QEW Contracting again without question.

My husband was recently in an accident causing us to have to purchase a new home. It proved challenging with the home market at a high at the time. However we were able to locate a ranch style bungalow in our preferred location. The property was in need of a full renovation for wheelchair accessibility, therefore enters Saverio and his team. We tied in an accessibility resource to assist with some of the required functionalities and equipments to accommodate a person using a wheelchair. Doing a new renovation for accessibility is challenging on its own, add in the guidelines and licence requirements make it even more so. But Saverio was on site on a daily basis working with his team to ensure all was running smoothly. Due to time constraint, Saverio made solid recommendations to make sure we were happy with the work. Full renovation entailed restructuring of the whole house for easier access to and in the house taking into account specific turning radius - spacious bedroom with ceiling tracks and other equipments, accessible bathroom, door openers, lifts in backyard and garage, ramp within city guideline. Open concept for easy navigation in the house. Backyard Deck and Landscape. Awning on front porch to offer shelter from sun, wind and rain. The house is beautiful and peaceful. Set up is just what the family needs to heal after a trauma. A big Thank You to Saverio and the team. We will be spending our first Christmas in the house this year and my family cannot be happier.

The crew came in mid-August and in 4.5 days replaced the old front porch and walkway adding a patio area and raised garden bed. Also completed the side walkway to the yard and replaced the old back patio and porch stairs. Wes and his crew were reliable and punctual and worked very quickly yet still cleaning up each day after they finished. There were a few things noticed after completion however Saverio and Wes worked to resolve them asap. We are very pleased with the results especially given the delays due to covid lockdowns, materials shortages, and pressures to complete the work. We love sitting out the front and are planning a new front garden bed.

Ryan, Henry and Jacob from QEW Contracting were so friendly, efficient, and had excellent communication with us constantly. Their work ethic is outstanding, anything we didn't like, they changed it without any hesitation. They worked in the dead of heat, and very long hours. They accomplished the job in 7 days and it was not any easy task. True professionals, the patience Ryan has is amazing. He would take his time to make sure the job was done, so that we approved and also that they could take pride in. I can't say enough about how well they worked and the workmanship is fabulous.
