    staging

    We used Singular designs to stage our home and she did an amazing job, the new buyer even asked to purchase most of the items because it fit so well with the home.

    homestaging

    I was nervous about making such a large investment and also, I admit, a little skeptical about the effectiveness of homestaging. When, however, my house sold on the first day of listing for a significant amount over asking price, I was converted. Singular Design quickly and professionally turned my home into a modern, comfortable, and attractive space that was appealing to buyers. I highly recommend this service to anyone wishing to maximize their chances of a successful home sale.

    Home Staging

    In the midst of a hot market, we were perplexed that our house hadn’t yet received any offers. Our realtor recommended a consultation with Alison Overington of SINGULAR DESIGN. In the space of two hours, Alison gave us a room-by-room rundown of what was working in our home, and what wasn’t. Most of her suggestions were things that could be implemented easily and immediate – removing a chair, turning a rug, hanging a piece of art. She helped find the balance in each room, made helpful colour suggestions, showed us that even though we thought we had decluttered and depersonalized our home, that there was more that could and should be removed. We felt we’d had our home pretty well staged but it took a fresh, frank viewpoint to help us finetune things and find the focal points that would add interest and drama to each level of our backsplit. Alison has a distinctive flare for design, and a real understanding of what sells – which truly is a singular talent!

    Updating all rooms to a modern look

    Deciding to update the look and feel of our home’s interior was an overwhelming idea. Out with the old in with the new. Meeting our timeline and making sure every decision along the way supported our new concept was my number one concern. For this reason I contracted Singular Design to help me with making my final decisions involving furniture choices, styles, color coordinating and furniture placement. We meet weekly and as needed via email to review paint choices, review furniture photos, discuss design options and confirm my next steps. With the help of Singular Design all the stress of making the right decision was eliminated. They gave me the confidence to make the right choices, provided options to consider for challenging areas such as using glass blocks to create a bar area. As we rushed to meet our timeline Singular Design also helped me with all the final touches such as hanging our existing art and place accents in the rooms. With the help of Singular Design all my objectives where met – I completed the project on time and personally enjoyed every step along the way…

    Staging

    Alison did an amazing job staging our home. She worked with what we already had, making it look better then we had ever thought. On top of that she brought in some unique pieces that really complemented our home. The result - our house sold in 3.5 days for full asking price. She moved very quickly, coming in to assess and then to set up, her friendly and professional personality made this very easy for us. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stager that really knows the space and how to maximize the selling price of your home. thanks again Alison!! BS

    Staging my house for sale

    I highly recommend Alison for the job! She was able to come in, take a look, pinpoint my problem areas and delivery a great solution -- in a timely, efficient and very professional manner. She's great with colour and knows just what to do to make each room pop. My friends couldn't believe the difference and more importantly, I sold my house in two days for more than asking!
