130 ACORN T700 RH STRAIGHT LIFT

We purchased a brand new stair lift on November 26, 2024, with invaluable assistance from Sean at the Burlington office, whose support and reassurance were truly exceptional. Understanding my request for a considerate technician to cater to seniors' queries, he appointed Warren for the installation, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. The installation took place on December 03, and I was impressed with Warren's professionalism and preparedness. Warren, the dedicated technician assigned to my parents' home, exhibited remarkable understanding and patience when interacting with the elderly. Despite my dad's initial skepticism and hesitations about the payment process, Warren patiently addressed his concerns and ensured a smooth resolution to any challenges that arose. Warren not only installed the stair lift flawlessly but also took the time to train both my mom and dad on its operation. The completion of work and receipt were issued in person, and an electronic invoice was sent to my email. Now, over a month later, I am pleased to provide positive feedback that the stair lift continues to function perfectly. Acorn Stair lifts Canada has truly exceeded my expectations with their outstanding service, from the initial point of contact with Sean to the impeccable installation by Warren. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality shines through in every interaction. I wholeheartedly recommend Acorn Stairlifts Canada for anyone seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused stairlift provider. Thank you to the entire team for making this installation a resounding success and for enhancing the lives of our loved ones. Kind regards Maria L1K 2K6

    Excellent installer

We just purchased our new home in Elliot Lake in February. We required a stairlift as soon as possible. We contacted Acorn for a quote. Due to COVID they were not able to send anyone to measure our stairs: We had to do that ourselves with the help of a list of required measurements provided by them. I wasn’t happy about this but the quote he gave us was accurate and the equipment he sent was correct. The installer -Conner, that came was excellent! He was very courteous, polite and conscientious . He made sure we knew how to operate the lift safely and ensured we were comfortable with it before he left. I would definitely recommend them

    Stair lift

Installation was quick and efficient. We've had our stairlift for 2 years and still working without any need for repair, but we do clean it weekly for dust. Would highly recommend this company.

    service issue

My 90 year old mother was forced to leave her house for a ten day period because the stair lift company could not come to repair the device on an emergency basis. The company advertises that they can install overnight but dont have the stock to repair in the same manner. These items are bought because they are an essential service for the very frail customers who use them. To not be able to repair this device quickly is unethical. As well, the company charges 2000 dollars to install the system from one house to another if you are sharing housing between families. They are done in less than 3 hours. $666 dollars an hour is an outrageous fee that is part of the emotional gouging done by the therapy supplies industry. Shame on this company.

    Installation and maintenance

The acorn technician that installed the stairlift was very informative and helpful. Very minimal installation concerns and very unobtrusive. Did not damage walls or stairs. The lift even worked during power cuts and it came with a great instructional DVD. Look to get second-hand ones as acorn does not buy back or resell. Many can be in great shape but they are hard to get rid of as people don't like to buy without a warranty.

    Stair lift

considering the reason for enlisting their services, I found this company to be efficent, professional, , good workmanship and good sales presentation. Even the instruction book came in 15 different languages. the representative took his time to explain everything (more than once) to my elderly aunt and uncle, which they found conforting.
