Not a great experience! Cory was doing work for a commercial building in Edmonton and was hard to nail down an exact install date. He blamed the delays in starting and finishing our project on being short staffed and having to let some guys go. Maybe, but not what we signed up for. The guys he did send, including himself, weren't great quality-wise. The tiles in the back entrance do not sit level - some higher than others. You can feel it when you walk across them! The kitchen backsplash, which is made of small, rectangular glass tiles, is crooked! The tile lines are wavy and unattractive. Not super happy with the quality. In the end, we were desperate to just wrap up the renovation as we were living through it and it was dragging on too long. I wish in hindsight I had stuck to my guns and made him fix the sub-standard quality in some of the areas. It bothers me every time I look at my backsplash, which should be a nice focal point of our kitchen. :(

Found Alpine/Corey actually from this site, doing a google search for area tile setters. Hired Corey to install tile in a bathroom and in our front entrance. They removed the old lino and K3 board, installed a new base and tiled in a timely matter with quality work. Price was also fair. A couple very minor issues were found in the bathroom after the fact and Corey was happy to come back and correct it, without issue or complaint. We are planning a master ensuite redo and a new kitchen floor and we’ll be bringing Corey back to do those jobs as well. **UPDATE** - After this job we tried to get an estimate to get Corey to do out kitchen. Became extremely difficult to even get the quote. Got tired of having to ask him for it and we moved on to another contractor after he again promised to drop one by and never did.

cory does awesome work, our floor looks better then I could have imagined. Cory's work looks great and was done in a timely manner, I would recommend alpine renovations to everyone.
