I had a clogged drain and reached out to a few groups for quotes. Mark took the time to explain there were a few potential options to fix while other groups recommended very costly hydro jetting. Mark was able to fix the problem in about an hour. He was also very knowledgeable and made some recommendations to avoid a similar situation in the future and recommended some potential preventative options for older pipes moving forward.

Mark was fabulous. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any job involving drains as has he has multiple snakes for any jobs that involves removing blockages. And he will give you an estimate.

Mark's a super nice guy and very professional in his approach. He took the time to fully investigate our set of problems (using a camera) and explain what was causing our sewer backup issues.

We had a sudden plumbing issue and were glad we called Drain Relief. We needed someone right away and that was not an issue for these guys. Everything was good to go before everyone arrived for the meeting.

My parents home is over 65 years old. They had an issue with water backing up from their kitchen and laundry room sinks. Mark made time to come and inspect the situation on the day I had called him. I called Mike in a short notice, despite being busy he showed up and was super dedicated in wanting to help me out. Before doing the job he took the time to nicely explain to me all potential issues and solutions and what I can expect etc. I thought this was great, I learned a lot and knew which directions I might need to go before even getting started. After persistently snaking 3 times we finally got the clog cleared. Though it was already clear from the first snaking but Mike was not happy as he felt that I may have issues in the future again. So he did it 2 more time untill it was properly done and upto his expectations. He spent a good amount of time doing this. I felt he was very dedicated and loved doing what he does; apart from the awesome work he did it was really nice chatting with him. He is a true star. I would give him 6 stars if it was possible. We have an old home with one toilet not flushing, and water backing up into the sump pump. All the other toilet and sink work fine. This was a very odd problem, which really made no sense. I tried a few things on my own and usually I get it, but this time “not”. I used Mark in the past, and I found him to be very trust worthy, professional, with the tools and experience. Mark came over, we discussed the problem in detail. The combination of his experience with the older home, the camera to pin point exactly where the problem was “which happened to be just outside the home” and then cleared it with his snake. Was just awsome With the camera, he was able to confirm no damage in the pipe, so that gave me piece of mind as well. I would highly recommend Mark-Drain Relief for all your plumbing needs.

This is a case where the small companies that have limited reviews are much better than the larger companies with lots of reviews. Normally I only use homestar companies that have lots of reviews with positive feedback. I took a chance on this firm as the owner (Mark) was upfront and real with his comments and advice. Mark took his time to understand the situation, knew how to deal with it and took the time to cleanup after he left. I will 100% use him again and really appreciate his honesty and work. Mark was very quick in response to my posting for a service in Homestars as he came out within the same day. With a thorough investigative work work(including pre-thinking well before the visit), he was able to isolate what the issue was with the information I had provided him. My house is built in the 1950's, and he had enough experience with these older built homes as invaluable experience in his arsenal. I highly recommend Drain Relief!

Used the service of Mark - Drain Relief, for a clogged main drain. He is professional & polite. He informed us how he planned to address the issue with different options, recommendations. He provided us in advance a reasonable price quote & there was no surprises at the end. He arrived as per the scheduled appointment well equipped with the necessary tools for the job. Using a professional camera, we could clearly view the inside of the drain. Explained what he was doing to address the issue & successfully unclogged the drain without a mess.
