Originally contracted their services for electric roller blinds in 2018. Was impressed with them after interviewing a few other providers. Started strong and even visited once post installation to check on an issue I had. I reached out again in late 2024 as there was an issue. It would have been fine if they said they wouldn't help given the length of time but I was going to use them if I needed to replace the blinds. But owner did respond and said that they would send someone. After back and forth for a few months they just stopped responding. I don't appreciate being ghosted and just declining at some point because it is out of warranty wouldn't have been appreciated. Especially since it would have been obvious that if I was going to replace the blinds I would have stuck with them

Jasmina was a pleasure to work with. She brought a large assortment of fabrics and colours to choose from and wasn't shy about offering her professional opinion. The installers came within the timeframe that was discussed and did a marvelous job hanging the drapery. I am very pleased with the result and would highly recommend Shades of Home.

We just had window treatments installed in our front living room window. The service we received from the Shades of Home team was excellent. First, they sent a designer to our house with samples to explore our options. Marie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was so convenient to have this service at home and to see the fabric options in the space. Second, the order and installation was seamless. Everything was perfectly measured and installed. Our custom roller shade and curtains are just perfect. Highly recommend.

This year, we installed new windows and our window supplier recommended Shades of Home as a potential supplier for our shades. My wife and I happened to visit their showroom on a Saturday and we met Steve, who had us look and functionally operate the choices in their showroom. In order to get an estimate, I detailed the measurements of the windows that we wanted covered and Jasmina proposed 2 options, hi-lighting the features of each proposal. Once we made our selection, an installer came by to take detailed measurements to ensure a perfect fit in each frame. Yesterday, we had our shades installed, with the selection for the living room being different from the bedrooms, each serving the desired purpose. We are definitely impressed with the quality of the products and the fit into their appropriate frames. As a side note, these products are manufactured in Ontario, so should any replacement parts be remotely required, I would assume that they would be easier to obtain. Thank you Jasmina and your Team and I asked my wife when she woke up this morning, if she slept better and she replied "Yes" as the light was not shining directly in her eyes.

Jasmina was exceptional through out the consultation, sales and after sales process. We are beyond happy with the product itself, our blinds are beautiful and of high quality. Blinds Installers were also very efficient and professional. Highly recommend this company!!

We wanted to replace window treatments in our newly bought condo. Shades of Home were recommended to us by several people. We found the service and product exemplary and Jasmina was very helpful in helping us select colours, types of blinds etc. We are extremely pleased with the result.

I felt welcome the moment I walked into the store. Staff greet you and are warm and helpful. Staff listen and are knowledgeable about their fabrics , products and can help you decide what blinds or draperies will work for you!! Jasmina has great ideas and suggestions....and she understood what I wanted in my home. She keeps in touch to let you know how things are progressing. The installation team is beyond expectations!! They know what they are doing!! Professional and pay attention to detail. I could not be happier!!

We couldn't be happier with Shades of Home. Thanks to Marie we have beautiful living room and bedroom drapes. Marie was amazing and easy to work with as her attention to detail to suggest appropriate colors, fabric texture and matching hardware was outstanding. The new drapery has completely changed the look of our rooms and we love how updated our home looks now. Were very happy with the sheers and drapes we had made and installed through Shades of Home, Oakville. With Jasminas expertise and guidance, we chose beautiful fabrics, elegant ripple fold style and track. The panels are well-made, fall nicely and evenly, notably where they meet when closed. Raj and Sarla did excellent work in measuring and installing the track, sheers and drapes. They advised us on how best to open and close them and made sure they were hanging properly. We very much appreciate their careful attention to detail.
