    Another Disappointment from Deluxe Alarms

    This is my last conversation with Deluxe Alarms. Sent May 16th. I still have yet to receive any response. What a shame... Hello Sudi and Deluxe Alarms customer support services, The reason for my writing today is to basically voice my dismay at Deluxe Alarms attempt to basically hold us hostage with the dated system that YOUR company installed. Now considering this equipment is dated, and you dont support it any longer, the signal is intermittently being monitored according to one of your reps and Im just learning that this has been going on for a long time since over a year ago when the amber triangle has come on. Our keypad beeps twice every 10 seconds or so until we enter our code and then it stops beeping until the next time it starts up again. WE are now FORCED to make one of three choices. Considering we have been with your company for I believe 8 years now, I guess customer loyalty really doesnt count for much these days with Deluxe Alarms. The three choices are basically, either we pay fully for the upgrade in equipment and remain on our month to month or sign back up for a three year term again and youll install the equipment for free, or we terminate our contract. Again, basically its a pretty awful position youre putting us in considering YOU INSTALLED equipment that YOUR COMPANY no longer supports and should have made us aware upon original installation that the equipment would not be supported down the road. The options left to us are unfortunate considering we are now looking to cancel our month to month contract with you. Sudi, you mentioned to me on the phone that youll have a manager contact me. Last time I was told a manager would contact us, we waited literally for over a year and even then no one called. Im assuming this wont get anywhere at this point. I have already contacted the Consumer Protection Agency as well as our friends at Global News Consumer Matters just to vent. I guess please take heed that this is our one month notice for termination of account. We have tested response from setting off the alarms randomly for over 3 minutes each time over a one year period and received no calls from the monitoring station. So basically weve been paying you for no monitoring. What a horrible way to service people.

    Stay clear from this company

    I was forced to use this company by my builder Gernaium. Never had I needed to pay a sub-contractor seperately but i did this time to get a discount. 2 years after I moved in they contact me to say I owe them money. I paid them the installation fees and they did not provide the service when I moved it. No one called to initiate the service for alarm system. SO now they want to bill me $3,000 again for breaking contract. The contract is for 3 years $28.25. That's only $1,017 tax in. Rather than work with me to get the installation for the alarm and honor the contract they sent a collection agency for $3,000. This company is hurting for money and the people that work in the admin department are lacking in any skills or intelligence. You should see my email responses from them. The owner or management at the top clearly does not know how to run this business. They just go for cash grabs. What a shame to have to deal with this stupity and type negative reviews.

    Terrible customer service, false contract promises

    Do not go with company unless you enjoy crappy/non-existent service and fake information added to your contract/profile. When I was trying to cancel my service, they threw a ton of "promotions" at me but nothing that was added to my contract was true: 1) they offered the first 6 months of my 36 month contract as free monitoring. I just found out that my contract is in fact 42 months so the guy who renewed my not only sold me something completely untrue but he left the company shortly after (surprise surprise). 2) at the time of my contract renewal, I also got a new door installed so I scheduled for a technician to come out and reconnect the door contact. I also just found out that on my file, that work was noted to 'reinstall the new equipment as part of my contract renewal' which is 100% BS because I still have the equipment I got 14 years ago! I do NOT have any of this so called "new equipment" installed in my house! I thought that my contract was up Oct 13 2020 (36 months) but now I can't cancel otherwise I have to pay an early termination fee but how can I pay any fee for equipment that isn't even in my house?! Technically I already OWN this equipment because it's 14 years old! I've called multiple times, the agents don't care and only tell me "I'll forward this to my manager" but that was 2 weeks ago and no one has called me back. DO NOT GO WITH DELUXE. THEY ARE AWFUL AND GIVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Safe home

    I want to tell you a huge thanks for installation new alarm system at my home. In several months after your work everything works like it's new, even there are kids at out home=)) THANK YOU

    Safety Systems

    Considering that the work is not difficult and fast, everything is OK. The job was done quickly, as promised. They know their business. I recommend them for cooperation to my colleagues and friends.

    My alarm

    Security of my family is a priority number 1 for me and for that reason I was trying to find the most reliable security company and I must say that these guys do their job really professional!

    My security

    We need to install some door protect devices in our house so our friends recommended this company to us. I must say that I had a lot of questions because it's our security but all answers were really relevant and professional. 5 stars!

    Company never provided the service

    We signed up with Deluxe as part of new home set up. Our system was never hooked up, our door and window contacts are hanging in frame. Were unable to have anyone return any calls, messages left. We cancelled land line approx. 2 yrs after sign up, we notified of this change, again, no response. Our contract was up, we continued to receive invoices, we have once again made multiple calls, sent emails, we continue getting billed. We were asking for bills beyond contract to stop, and desist. As no response, we are now seeking reimbursement for the entire period, as this Company has never provided the service that we contracted them for. Our experience has been worse than any other service relationship we have had. Pic below show our contact in garage and front doors, windows are identical + back door to interior

    Recent Hardware Upgrade

    I have been with Deluxe Alarms for over 10 years, since our home was built. I recently upgraded our system with a new board for GSM, new keypads and doorbell camera. I have always found them to be quick to respond and provide great service.

    Deluxe Review

    I have used this alarm company for my past 2 homes. They are very accommodating and I love them! It was easy to switch the service from one home to another and I would recommend them to anyone.
