John is a delight to work with--pleasant, communicative, respectful, and reliable. His high ratings are truly well deserved. Our porch railings were in desperate need of repairing and repainting. He was able to rebuild the railings down the stairs, which had rotted, matching the style to the original design and ensuring they were solid. He also levelled some patio slabs at the foot of the stairs and did some additional sanding and painting of decorative trim that he noticed was chipping. VERY pleased with the end result. Looking forward to having John back for the next home improvement item on our list.

Had new furnace installed where they had to create a hole through my ceiling and have an exposed pipe. Unfortunately it was only way for install to be done. I didn't like the hole or the exposed pipe, so, asked John to help. As always, his work is magic and it was all done in less than 2 days. Plus the painting matched exactly the painting I had in the basement walls. So, looks like nothing ever happened and it all blends in. Highly recommend John for any and all jobs!! Won't hesitate to call on him again.

This worker was very polite and friendly and on time. However, we were under the impression that power washing would strip our deck to bare wood. (I have done a successful wood stripping job myself with a pressure washer in the past.) Our deck is very clean now but absolutely not stripped. We have totally waisted money on this project.

John has worked on several jobs for us including installing flooring in our basement, repairing drywall, building steps at our side door, etc. He responds in a timely manner, communicates clearly and does an exceptional job. But, best of all, he is lovely to have around. The kids adore him and his funny stories, and the adults as well : ) A round of applause goes to John for being a pretty handy and pretty awesome guy. John showed up when expected and did exactly what we needed him to do. He had no problem when some of our plans needed to be changed. Pleasant and courteous. We will have John back to do our next project. Thanks John!

We initially contacted John because he is local and has excellent reviews here. Great communication from the start. He came over promptly for an estimate and gave us good advice on what flooring material to pick up ahead of time. He showed up as scheduled for the job, which involved removing the toilet and baseboards, replacing the flange, trimming and installing the vinyl tiles, installing new baseboards, silicone caulking, painting the baseboards and trim, and reinstalling the toilet. He provided all the materials (except the tiles which we selected and bought), and cleaned everything up when he was finished. The whole job was done in a day, and looks great. Were very satisfied, and will be contacting him again for future jobs. Highly recommended.

John is a great handy guy. We have had him do several jobs in our home and have been very happy. He responds promptly, provides a clearly stated quote so there are no surprises, shows up when he says he will and finishes the tasks in a timely fashion. His work quality is excellent and he is pleasant to have around. We highly recommend John!

John did some drywall repair for us in 3 different rooms. All the areas look brand new. He even added a removable cover to a hole that needed to be left for access to an outside water valve - nice touch. John is very courteous and friendly. I got some travel suggestions, and he discovered an old piggy bank from a product promotion, that my wife has on a shelf, that he had as a child. Will definitely be calling John in the future for further jobs.

John has done 2 jobs for us, and if we could afford it we would have him here full time. Not only is John excellent at what he does, he is also a person that you can trust to have in your home. He did a fantastic job on some major drywall repair, trim install, painting, interior door installs, and he built some great storage shelves in our basement. John is very good at what he does, and above all else he is truly a pretty great guy....he's also funny, he would be horrified if I didn't mention funny ;)

John is a lovely guy, so polite, patient and his work is great. So clean neat and great finishing, he finished every work on time, top quality was always on time as well. We know who to call next time we need a handyman.
