We moved in to a house built by Krisner in January of 2012. When the snow and ice melted out driveway was falling apart. It took several phone calls and threatening to go to the media for then to come and fix it. In addition our back patio settled by 4" in one corner, our steps are falling apart and the eavestrophing was not installed correctly (water runs down between the eaves and the roof. I had contacted them repeatedly and have had nothing fixed. One one windy day the facia was pulls off of the south side of our roof. Very poor quality and no commitment to stand behind their work. Do not buy from this company.

Poor Communication! Left the bathroom window out. Design center lady was very short and not helpful. Home not finished when promised. We walked away and lost the deposit. Well worth it. Went with D.R. Horton. Got a better plan and finished on time with no issues. This was May 2011.

Built a home with them ,promised in under a year, its more like 2 years. They took almost 8 months to even start the house, after that weeks go by with no trades working, many mistakes found by me and missed by the superintendent. Very unorganized takes months to get pricing on upgrades, most times you need to ask multiple times, high turnover in staff. I have had a terrible experience and would not recommend using them.

We moved into our new home 1 1/2 years ago and have been very pleased with the quality and the attention to detail in the construction and finishing of our house. We were able to customize our house to exactly what we wanted where other builders in the area would not accommodate any changes to their floor plans. Dream Homes by Krisner allowed us to build our house for our needs and not a generic cookie cutter home where we would have to make compromises. This was our first time building and every time we met with the owner or any of the staff; they were very knowledgeable, helpful and organized (they always took notes and confirmed our meetings agenda items online). They really helped us understand the build process at every step. After we moved in, the staff at Krisner have always been very helpful in addressing any issues that have arisen. They have never refused to address any items that needed attention. We are so glad we chose to build with Dream Homes by Krisner and we would definitely recommend them.

The staff at Dream Homes was great, having a knowledgeable Site Superintendent (Ryan) who had the respect of his tradesmen was great to watch. He ensured that every question was answered in a timely fashion and we were actually able to park on our drive ways instead of the mud for the winter! Over two years ago we signed our contract to build with Dream Homes by Krisner, we are still waiting to move in and don't have a possession date yet. As far as we can tell the quality of the build is good, the service however is horrible! We've had everything from shoddy contractors to regular turnover in staff, management and suppliers. Our house has sat vacant with not one contractor on siite for weeks and even months at a time. The house was vandalized and there was even evidence that there was someone sleeping on the premise. Several other Krisner clients have told me of having similar experiences. They've also told me that once they've moved in and Krisner gets their money on hand, it's even harder to reach Krisner to complete any touch-ups or final details. Some have said they have waited over a year for a fence and landscaping and have been ignored with other major and minor finishes in their homes. We were promised a certain quality of service from day one by the builder himself and to say they have fallen short would be an understatement. Dream Homes by Krisner is a classic case of everything has to be in writing! They promise things that later take back or forget, or blame on someone that was since fired. They don't return phone calls or emails in a prompt manner. When we first met with the owner of the company, we should have listened to our gut instinct. He was very unorganized, and didn't write things down. During our several meetings before the signed contract he seemed unable to ever get caught up with his work load or know where things were on his computer. Specific questions we needed answered, he said would get back to us, and didn't. the disappointing part is that we did our homework to try and avoid this kind of mess. Before we signed any papers we did a BBB check and even confirmed with Canada Lands if there were any outstanding complaints. As far as they could tell, everything seemed normal. I feel that these resources let us down. They are there to warn people about businesses that are run in this manner and keep them in check on how they service clients. Overall, I would NOT recommend anyone build with this company. We will be making a formal complaint once this nightmare is over. There are several companies in our area that build their homes right and faster and have very good client service during and after move in. I'm curious to know how it pans out for the people that have commented that they are having such a good experience with their build... It's either a sham or they have just started their build. I don't think they will have the same feeling 2 years from now when their home is still not finished. All the houses in our area go up quickly and the lots that say SOLD by KRISNER are still vacant with no construction in sight! What is going on with this Company? I would not recommend them!

We are in the process of building a home with them. They have been very accommodating and very helpful. They were friendly. They will design your dream. They aren't just worried about the interior design, but more importantly, the structure of the home. We are very satisfied with them. And we would definitely recommend them to others.
