Used many times, excellent service as always

Broken appliances....the downtime is painful. I have always used Appliance Dr. to repair our appliances for many years now. They have always given us great service. Repaired quickly when it was worth it, and advised me to replace appliances when the repair wasn't worth being done. All the repairs have lasted. Reasonable pricing. I appreciate the opportunity to make our appliances last longer before replacing. I will continue to use them for years to come.

Fixed by 35 Year Old Viking Dryer and it Runs like New

The Appliance Doctor tech fixed my dryer in July 2018. He was early, quick and cleaned up. Fixed the problem (changed belts and frayed wiring) so dryer working just fine. I would recommend Appliance Doctor to anyone based on my experience with them over the years.

    dryer repair

I had a noise and vibration issue with my dryer and called Appliance Doctor who sent out a service technician , of course dryer refused to make the noise while he was there but he spent an hourt taking it apart and in the end showed me a heat element that was defective, I didn't pay much attention to it and told him to replace it assuming that this would fix the problem. A few days later I used the dryer and after 20 minutes the noise and vibration resumed. It got me thinking about the replaced heat element and after examination realized that there was nothing wrong with the part. I called the service and explained the situation and requested another technician be sent as the first technician did not fix the problem and replaced a perfectly good part for no reason that I could see. I wanted them to send a different tech that would be unbiased to look at the replaced part and to fix the original problem. Sending the first tech to me would have been unproductive. I also felt that the tech simply replaced a part in order to pad the bill. They offered to have the first tech come back and remove the replacement part and return the cost of the part but refused to send a different tech. I decided to eat the cost of the service call and hire a different company; as a small business owner myself I would have placed my customer's needs first and sent another tech to see for myself if my customer's fears were justified.

    LG Washer

Pricey repairman. $90 show up charge and $150 for worn out hose for our LG washer. Apparently LG will not ship functional parts to consumer just to repairman. All parts are shipped from the USA. Not sure who to blame for the gouging...LG or repairman? Washer was fixed and is working but price was unsatisfactory. Will buy something else in future. Not an LG fan.

    Plugged Dishwasher

Our dishwasher would not drain, I run my dishwasher 1 to 2 times a day. I called a few places but they were booking into the next day or the day after. When I called them they were very friendly and were able to fit me in that night. I asked how much the service call would be and was told $90.00, they came in the time I was told, took the Dishwasher out and started vacuuming, he found the item that was causing the problem. He did lose a screw, but had more to secure it in place. Overall the service was good, I wish it would have been explained that the service call was just to come to our location and then there would be additional charges for touching the dishwasher. $60.00 or so seemed a little high to just vacuum it, although he was very through to make sure all clogs were found.

    washing machine repair

Smoke was coming out of our washer; the serviceman was able to give us a good estimate & advise on repair or replace. Work was done in timely manner. We had also asked them to disconnect a wire in our dryer, which was incorrect. When they came back to fix their mistake they charged us for the call - not so impressed with that
