Speedy folks are always late. They don't respond to calls if you have been waiting for them to show up. They NEVER show up after the city plough leaves those banks. Please DO NOT sign up.

Speedy was doing ok. yes behind the other 2 companies that come to our street in Kanata but always there an hour or so later. Then this big snow storm.. they came at 7pm at night.. not before and not afterwards... once was just not enough for 50 cms of snow. They leave their v-msg full so can't leave a msg and they do not respond to e-mails. I gather them 2 years and this really changed things and was very disappointed this time since they've been very good so far this winter. I've seen the same bad comments for Kodiak but they were here at least 3 times during and after the storm and again this am Feb. 20. Capital has always done a good job on this street.

I would never recommend this company as they just don't do the work that they say they will do. 1 foot of snow this week and they have not been by yet to do my driveway. No one answers the phone. No one returns calls. Too much money to spend to have to shovel the driveway myself. Don't use these guys.

Speedy? That's a good one! Highly NOT recommended. After the first snowfall, they were really late in arriving and then I had to shovel myself out after the plough came by rather than wait till the next day. When we received the second snowfall, after Christmas, they didn't show up at all. I called to see what was wrong and was told the driver already came to my house. I explained that this simply wasn't true and was then asked if I could take a picture of my driveway to prove it.......seriously?? Anyway I did send a picture and the driver showed up two hours later. No apology for the error. I sent an email to cancel my service and asked for a refund for the balance of the year. Didn't even get a response. I don't expect to ever see a refund, but I'll never use them again and hopefully I can save someone else from such a disgraceful service.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company nothing but headaches. 3 snowfalls in and I had to call them to get my driveway cleaned and then they showed up later in the evening to clear driveway. The owner does not take care of his customers only leaves his secretary to handle the angry calls.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this "company" – it’s a complete waste of money. The service is just ridiculous bad and it’s impossible to get through to the owner on the phone. We’ve had snow 2 times this winter and we had to wait almost 10 hours to get the driveway cleaned after the city plow had been by. When you finally get through to them, they have the most amazing "explanation" to why they got delayed. I’m actually ashamed having their “signs” in my front yard.

This company does shoddy work, cuts corners and dumps piles at the end of the driveway sides so visibility backing out of driveway? None. Many complaints from my neighbors too. I called the main line tonight to speak to the owner and I didn't even get two words out when he started shouting at me. He then threatened to not come shovel my driveway...this is the owner of a company. I may have lost my money for this year, but please do not lose yours.

I just recently entered into an arrangement with Speedy Snow Services. I am not happy with their service and have written a letter requesting a refund. I would like to provide the company with an opportunity to resolve the issue prior to posting my full story. I will be following up with additional details regarding the concern I have and information as to how the company resolved the issue.
