If you have a flat roof, do not use Belmar. Belmar has been at our house three times for a period of two days each visit. The roof work is still not completed correctly. We did have a roof inspection after the third time of fixes. After the first two days, when they said they were done, the roof was leaking in two places on opposite ends of our house. They quoted new flashing but put back on the old flashing. My husband spent two days on the roof removing ice so Belmar could come back and see what was wrong. My husband temporarily fixed the leaks till then. After the second visit some week or two later, the leaks were fixed but not so professionally. We realized then that the plywood under the membrane had not been fastened correctly. And after the third trip out this March, and a day and a half on the roof, the workmanship is still a problem. Belmar had threatened to lien our property before they even completed their work, as they were standing on our property making repairs. This was at a point they had not welded down perimeter seams. We have now requested that Belmar not come back to finish the work requested by the roof inspector, we no longer have any faith in Belmar ability. We have received a quote from another roofer to fix Belmar work, an installer recommended by the roof inspector. The cost is more than the original install cost.

I was dreading getting a new roofing contractor with what I witnessed over the years in the neighbourhood. Belmar was Awesome and made it a quite painless process for me. Fair Price of all quotes ( right smack in the middle actually ) however these appeared to be the most professional of the buch I seen. The crew was quick and very hard working making the taks just under 2 days. Habib was great to come out first thing on Monday to ensure all the soffits were sealed properly adn was kind ennough to pint out some wiodow service we may require. I recommend if your in need of a roofer to call these guys.

The quoting was quick and efficient, the work was completed within the quoted time frame, and took one day to complete. Good Experience but they had put the wrong colour shingle on...not just wrong shade but wrong colour. Contract was for grey, brown was placed on roof. The company offered replacement or discount. The approach was reasonable but now we have to change the planned colour palette for the house. Belmar placed blame on the supplier but it seems like a simple check to be performed by the onsite crews ... TL:DR -good work, good company...wrong colour

I had contracted from a small company (review of him to follow separately) to do a full roof replacement which was performed in December 2014. It leaked in March 2015. I hired Belmar to redo the full job as they saw a lot of deficient portions. They came on time, and were very competitive with their pricing, and tried hard to find all the ways possible to do my job right and at the lowest possible cost. Their attention to doing it right and not fast was amazing. I would definitely recommend them to others.

After extensive research and interviews with several roofing companies my husband and I selected Belmar Roofing to work with. Each and every person we had contact with right from the initial quotation appointment to the guys on the job site to girls in the office were very professional, polite and easy to work with. The job site was left clean at end of each day. Our eaves troughs were cleaned out and grass was both raked and had the magnet run over it to ensure no stray nails were left behind. We chose Belmar Roofing because of their down to earth explanation of the underlay options, flashing options and vast array of shingle products available. We felt we were able to make educated choices based on unbiased sound advice which was backed by one of the best warranties available. I just wanted to thank the crew that came out and put new shingles on our roof on probably the 2 hottest days of the year. July 28th and 29th. The guys did a great job. Not only were they fast and efficient they did a great clean up afterwards and the shingles look great. Greatly appreciated. Janice McGeachy

We contracted Belmar Roofing Inc. to replace our roof in June 2013, in January 2014 we discovered some warranty work that had to be done. Belmar refused to return to do this work. 14 months after Belmar roofed our home we had to have another roofing co. re roof our home. When the roof was removed we discovered materials we had contracted and paid for missing ( plywood sheeting, underlay etc.) . We filed a claim with small claims court and received our judgement this past week. See judgement Wheeler V Belmar Roofing Inc. posed by the judge on the CanLII site.
