    Painting, main floor, 2 stairwells, all trim and doors

    We had a big paint job to do and decided to hire a painter. I found John on Homestars and after reading his reviews, called him for a quote. We were really impressed with John's professionalism. He provided referrals to us from previous jobs and his customers all loved him. He provided the quote to us and completed the job on time. The house looks amazing. We will definitely call John again for any paint jobs.

    Apartment painted

    John came to me highly recommended so hired him to paint my apartment. He is a very clean painter, quality of work was amazing and his attention to detail was most surprising! John was very accommodating in helping me select paint colours. He took it upon himself to do other small jobs that I could not manage myself, which was greatly appreciated! I would HIGHLY recommend John for any painting needs you have.

    Stair well and upstairs landing/hallway painting.

    I heard about John's service through co-workers. John was very professional in both his work and service. Received quick replies to questions, and he completed the job as promised. It was a very difficult job (stairwell) and the results were outstanding. Took great care to protect the rest of the house. He also followed up later to make sure we were satisfied and assured us that if we found anything wrong, he would be more than happy to come back, looking for 100% satisfaction.

    Painting 2 Rooms and Balcony Bay Window

    We contacted several painting services when looking to have our daughter's room and bathroom repainted and only John got back to us within 24hrs. Other service responded but were days later and did not follow up with the information we requested. John was very punctual and considerate of our time for both projects and the quality of work was excellent. He was happy to pick up the supplies and paint we had chosen and during both jobs he did extra then was expected. We appreciated the job so much we booked his services to paint our upper bay window at the back of the house and again did a great job. We would happily recommend him to anyone looking to have painting work done. Pricing was reasonable and quality was excellent. Thanks John

    Painting

    John's painting services were first class. He was professional, punctual, experienced and shared sound advice. We were in a rush and John started on time and finished on time - as promised.

    Painted babies room

    My wife and I are expecting our 1st child this summer and just found out we are having a boy. We called John in to paint the babies room, naturally it had to be painted blue. He painted the walls, baseboards, doors, door casings and window casings. John arrived at the agreed time, was neat, polite and very professional. We are very pleased with how the room looks and can't wait to put the baby furniture in there. We would most definitely use John again for any future painting projects and would recommend him highly to anyone else that is looking for a painting professional. Adam & Barbara in Pickering

    Painted bathroom

    We did a complete bathroom renovation on our house and needed the ceiling, walls, trim and doors painted. John came highly recommended by my contractor. He lived up to his reputation, his work was excellent, he was done on time, reasonably priced and left the place spotless. I will most definately call John for any future painting projects I have.     Painting of Basement

    I hired Shades of Things to Come based on the reviews I read on HomeStars. My basement got ruined due to flooding and became a big mess to fix. The drywall had to be ripped out and I got stuck looking at the concrete brick which is not a nice site. I had John paint over the concrete bricks. He took great care in covering up my stuff so nothing would get paint on it. He told me how long it would take and he finished on time like promised. I would highly recommend him.

    Painting of entire condo

    I hired John to paint an investment condo in between tenants. The previous paint job had left the condo looking old and a little run down. John was able to give it the needed facelift and make the condo look brand new again. He was very professional. He arrived on time. His work was meticulous - every inch of the hardword floor was protected. The paint job was immaculate - every line perfectly straight. There was no mess to clean up after he left. Our tenant was thrilled with the way the condo looked. His price was very competitive as well. I was very pleased with John's work and would hire him again in the future. I definitely recommend this company.

    Painted interior of townehome

    I am a real estate agent and I hired John to paint a town house for me that I was selling. He arrived on time and provided me with a written quote that was very competitive. However, what separates John from other painters that I have hired is that he is personable, extremely reliable and meticulous with his paint work. He covered all floor areas with Kraft paper, taped just about everything and the result was a stunning paint job with absolutely no mess afterwards. He even took my client to Home Depot to choose paint samples with her. What more can I say, I was happy, my client was happy and I will most definitely use John again when I need a quality painter that I can trust. Karen in Markham
