Had all windows and patio door replaced by Stittsville Windows & Doors. The representative, Jason, was most helpful and knowledgeable , from the measuring and choosing the type of product to setting a time frame that worked for us. The installation was done at the agreed time and the installers, Steve, Bill and Tim did a great job. Overall a positive experience

We had three windows replaced in the kitchen, a window in our stairwell and a window in an upstairs bedroom. The crew did a fantastic job. They showed up when they said they would and they worked quickly and efficiently for the better part of the day. They also cleaned up very well and hauled all the old windows away. The trim that was installed was perfect. They made sure it fit well, plus it was pre-primed so I only have to give it a coat of trim paint. It looks great! In one of the kitchen windows, the trim was installed slightly over the backsplash. I thought that they would have to cut out the tile in order to get the window in but that wasn't the case at all. Most importantly, the drafts that we could feel from the old windows are gone! I couldn't be more pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Stittsville Windows and Doors. We will definitely choose them again when we decide to change out the rest of the windows.

I needed three windows replaced as the existing windows were only inserts and were leaking badly. I spoke with Reed who came over and looked at what needed to be replaced. We discussed various options and I was very surprised that see that his price was over $200 cheaper than the other two quotes I received. On the day of installation, both Jim and Dustin arrived promptly and immediiately began to work. Given the cold weather, they removed one window at a time, and quickly had the new window installed, and sealed before moving onto the next. They worked non-stop, despite the cold weather, cleaning up as they went along. Even though there was a warm fire readily available for them to warm up, they continued to work until the last window and completed and cleanup was finished. Most impressive! I couldn't be happier with the windows I chose. They are all double-sliding making Spring and Fall cleanup much easier. Plus, the latches are very easy to open and operate very smoothly. I still have more windows, plus a patio door, to replace and I will make sure to include SWD in the list of companies I will call.

Excellent job by the sales consultant, Reed, office staff & installers, Jim & Dustin. The doors came in when promised & installed promptly. I would certainly recommend SWD to anyone.

The installers were very friendly and informative, as well as praising the company they worked for which I do not hear often. The team turned up ahead of schedule and completed ahead of schedule. I asked for some extra caulking in some areas and they complied with no issues. Overall, the installation was completed quickly and efficiently and the window looks great. I would not hesitate to call Stittsville Window and Doors when we go to replace the rest of the windows.

High quality product (durability is yet to be determined), professional service, impeccable installation: precision, attention to details, cleanliness, politeness and patience fully answering my nagging questions :) And only took about 4h. Overall an excellent job, highly recommended.

Stittsville Windows & Doors was recommended to me by friends in the Glebe who had used their service many times and thought they were reliably outstanding. I too found them to be a superior company. Their assessment and installation services were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others. I believe I witnessed one aspect of why this company is so good. The more senior installer on my job was an excellent mentor/teacher to his younger associate. At the same time the younger man was wise enough and enthusiastic enough to realize he was learning the trade from a person who took pride in being a collegial as well as skillful role model. A high level team! This seems to be the recipe for ongoing quality by and success of this company!

Working with Stittsville Windows and Doors was great. We were very pleased with the entire process, our sales rep Reed was knowledgeable, he explained the features for the door system that make it a superior product compared to for example typical home improvement store products. He wasn't pushy, just helpful, I'd liken it to a technical sale. Our installer Jesse did a really professional clean installation job at the end of the day, the new door system was in, trim was back up, and nice clean caulking work. There was no mess or damage. Last house we had a bad experience with another door and window company as a result of the installer contractor they hired to install our door. It took months to fix. I won't say more. But this is a really key reason why Stittsville Windows and Doors is better than a lot of other companies, their installers are employees (not contractors) and they care about their work. If you want good product and good service, this is the company.

The sales person, Jason, was exceptional. He explained things to me that I was not aware of and his patience was exceptional waiting on me to decide on which window design I wanted. The installers, Jim & Dustin, were very efficient and left the place spotless after they were done. They were very friendly and worked well together and made everything run smoothly. Highly recommend this company.

I recently had 5 windows replaced by Stittsville Windows and Doors. Everyone from the office staff to the sales rep to the installers was easy to deal with and rather to please their customer. Because most of the windows in the house had already been replaced by previous owners with a cheaper line of windows, I did not want to spend huge dollars for top of the line product for the final five. I was not made to feel bad about this or pressured in any way to "buy up". I explained my situation and they happily suggested their budget line of windows for my project. Still have a fantastic warranty, and they look great!
