I recently had an incredible experience with Green Side Up that I just had to share! A year after they completed my landscaping project, I noticed a chip in one of the paving stones. When I contacted Jay, he responded promptly and went above and beyond by sending someone to replace the stone! Its rare to find a company that stands by its work to this extent, and I truly appreciate their dedication to quality and service. If you are looking for a landscaping company that not only delivers beautiful results but also values its customers long after the project is complete, I wholeheartedly recommend Green Side Up Contracting. We hired Green Side Up Contracting in to remodel our front and backyard in 2017. They did an awesome job; we are always receiving compliments on our landscaping. Since then, we have had some minor settling. I called Jay in September to see if he could fix this. He came over to assess and the repair work was done promptly. I asked him to send me an invoice and he said "Our tag line is Protecting Your Investment and I am passionate about this. Green Side will ALWAYS stand behind our work. 1 year. & years. 10 years. Forever!" Hats off to Green Side!

Jay and all of his crew are fantastic! We had a fairly large project completed this year which included: - pool - interlocking - sauna - outdoor shower - outdoor kitchen and roof - waterproofed Trex deck - lounge space with large retaining wall - privacy screens and the list goes on. Jay provided a detailed estimate and was able to answer all of our questions regarding supplies and materials. One of the best things about working with Jay is that he is great at communicating. He responds extremely fast to questions or concerns about the project. Another great thing about working with Jay is he will always strive to satisfy the customer. He pays attention to detail and expects and demands the same from everyone who works with him. Jay has high expectations for the workmanship of all of the crews that work on a project. If something is not up to Jays standards it will be fixed almost immediately. I would recommend Green Side Up to everyone!

Jay is a very likeable, easy going, and so easy to talk to He excels at communication re scheduling of the project and answering any questions and calls very quickly. Rob who is a master craftsmen at stonework also oversaw the crew. He was polite, very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, kind, thoughtful and patient with my questions and me. Of all the crews I have dealt with over the years at both the house and cottage Rob was the hardest working man I have ever seen. The work he did himself and that of his crew was a work of art. I am so very very happy with it and can't stop looking at how great it looks. Thank you gentlemen it was such a pleasure to know you.

When my wife and I first met Jay, we knew he was the right contractor for us. He was at our home within two days of calling him and arrived with samples of the material and ideas for our new second-story deck, including making it watertight. His estimate was detailed, and his knowledge level was high. The guys who built the deck showed up every day at the same time; they were always smiling, answered any questions we had, and were talented, to say the very least. At the end of the job, the guys washed the deck with soap and water and left us with a beautiful deck that we could sit under even when it was raining. Choosing Greenside Up was the proper decision!

Deck installation: Exceptional experience from top to bottom. Jay and his entire installation team were a pleasure to work with and the entire project went smoothly from start to finish. Lead time was was bang on and couldn't be happier! Will definitely use them again.

Over the past 2 decades I've used many contractors to help me with home related repairs and upgrades. And I can honestly say that Green Side Up was certainly one of the best company I have ever dealt with. From the prompt response to my request for a quote, to the transparency with costs and options available, to the immaculate workmanship and clean up. I had a cedar deck that was rotting. My attempt to get a contractor in for a small job was super expensive (double the quote provided by Green Side Up), or was going to commence late in the summer. Jay was quick to meet in person, provided me with all my options, an easy to understand quote with zero hidden fees and wasted no time getting a crew to dismantle my deck. Then his employees, Daniel and Cory, worked tirelessly to build a beautiful Trex deck with customized benches, steps, window well grates and an aluminum gazebo. Despite the scorching heat, they were friendly and polite, efficient and consulted with me at every step. Jay then ensured I was 100% satisfied before requesting payment -- seriously!! I have never seen a company stand behind its work like these guys. It's no wonder they have incredible reviews. If you need to upgrade your outdoor areas, don't hesitate to reach out to Jay. After Jay and his team installed my composite wood deck in 2021, which I absolutely love, I finally went ahead with having my front porch and drive replaced with stone. As with my deck, the project went smoothly and was completed a day before originally estimated. Rob was amazing as was Brandon (a master at stone work), Jay (another Jay) and Greg. They were pleasant, professional and more than accommodating in answering any questions I had. My porch and deck needed replacing badly and my house, drive and porch look stunning now. I am so very happy with the results. I will not hesitate to have Green Side Up provide any future work for me. I do have to admit that I am getting a little tired of neighbours stopping and ooohing and aaahing over my drive and porch !!!!
