Yard design / landscaping: Design and landscaping; 500 - 1000 sq ft
We hired Groundscape to re-design and construct our backyard, with admittedly not much of a plan in place when we started beyond knowing that we wanted a pavilion structure of some description and a hot tub worked into the final plan. Sal clearly had a vision from the moment he saw the property and it was clear from the outset who we had to hire. Groundscape came up with a plan and executed it to perfection. Everything that Sal and his team thought of we got a chance to discuss and visualize, and the final product is beyond anything that we could have anticipated. The Groundscape team coordinated and/or completed the installation of the new fence, construction of a massive pavilion structure, installation of new paving stones, pouring of the concrete pad for the hot tub, creation of the new gas firepit, installation of the artificial turf and all associated works (i.e. electrical, gas, etc.). Could not be happier with the craftsmanship or the people. Highly recommend.

Build or replace decking: Repair; 400 - 500 sq ft
I had an excellent experience with Groundscape Construction. Sal, the owner, restored my deck and the results were even better than I expected. He was professional, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. The deck looks brand new, and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Sal and his team for any outdoor construction or restoration projects!

Yard design / landscaping: Design and landscaping; Less than 500 sq ft
Sal and the team took our DIY backyard to the backyard we dreamt of! We started the project last year, in the hopes that we would do it ourselves. Over the course of the year, we soon decided that maybe we should just hire professionals to get it done - save time and our bodies. We met with a couple companies, but Sal was the first we met with and no one after compared to him. We knew this was the one to go with. The entire project took about 2 weeks. Sal's encouragement along the way for additions really made the backyard pop and I am glad that we listened to him. The team was very professional, punctual, clean, hard working, and really took care of our property. We hope to have Sal and the team come back for future projects and we already encouraged friends and family to do the same. If you are needing any landscaping, look no further than Groundscape - you won't find anyone better!

Front steps and pathway
Sal came by quickly to quote and had detailed quote notes. His team came and did the project quickly. The team was polite and cleaned up well leaving no garbage or mess. Great looking stairs covered in stone and entry walkway redone with bricks. Thanks boys! Neighbours huring Sal and team similar jobs next door and 3 doors down.

Backyard Project
Sal is extremely professional and personable. His many years of experience is very evident. Sal and his team were a delight to work with! Sal was on-site daily working with and supervising his crew. Their attention to detail is amazing, and their workmanship is excellent. They were friendly, punctual, hardworking, kept the job site organized, and cleaned up at the end of each day. During the planning process, Sal actively listened to what our vision was for our backyard. We appreciate him also offering his great ideas and expert advice when planning the project. Since he really understood what our vision was, he was able to add ideas that helped make our vision an amazing reality. Sal has exemplary communication skills, clearly laying out prices, timelines, and the scope of work to be completed. He always explained each step along the way, and answered any questions we had. Sal continually checked in with us to ensure that we were all on the same page, and that the reality of the project moving forth matched what we had envisioned. Sal coordinated the entire project with various skilled trades people that he works with (e.g., fence, gas installation, deck, railing). This provided us with peace of mind. The overall project was smooth and seamless, and everything was completed in a timely manner. We appreciate his flexibility, with the goal in mind of always leaving the customer satisfied and happy with his work. Sals excitement about our backyard was almost equal to our own! It is refreshing to see someone who truly loves what he does for a living. The finished backyard project exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to Sal and his crew for creating an absolute oasis in our backyard, which we will enjoy for many years to come. We highly recommend Groundscape Construction Inc.

From Hell to Heaven
My sidewalk had become a complete disaster over the years with crumbling pavement and drainage issues. Although, the work had to be done by hand, digging thru a layer of asphalt covering a cement sidewalk, Sal and his team worked tirelessly and happily to create a fantastic solution to my problems. I can't say enough about Groundscape Construction. This project had been extremely worrisome for me, one that Id waited a very long time to be able to afford doing. As it turned out, the cost was very reasonable and the outcome wonderful. Sal kept me in the loop every step of the way, thereby, relieving my anxiety. I look forward to working with Sal again should the opportunity arise.

Demo and landscape
Sal and his team were awesome! The team was quick to respond to our online query and an onsite visit and quote were quick to follow. The demo work of our backyard structure was safely and carefully completed. They new plants chosen help to build privacy and look beautiful. Groundscape was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

exterior landscaping
Capable and thoughtful design and execution. Only skilled permanent staff are on the team. Timing commitments always met. Job site kept in order with full clean up on conclusion. Total turnkey project , and always subject to owner's inputs. Have also had add on work done since. Same people, same outcome.

Toronto landscaping and custom jacuzzi overhang
Sal and his team truly do amazing work. They are so diligent and will not stop until they achieve excellence. Sal, many thanks for your hard work, going over and above in researching the type of trees that would work in the complicated space and for making our backyard look like an oasis!

Backyard makeover
Great service in all aspects. A very fair price and the crew were very professional. The work was completed in the time frame promised, cleaned up the entire area and it looks amazing. I would use Sal and his guys again! Highly recommended
