We needed to have our shower stall redone as water had gotten behind the tiles. He recommended removing the shower and redoing it with large size tiles and a pebble style floor. This worked really well. He did a great job on the bathroom floor as well. We are so glad we went with his ideas; it looks amazing!! Wes is extremely meticulous in his work, kept the work area clean and was always keeping us updated on progress and potential extra costs. We really love our new shower and will definitely highly recommend A & Wes Tile.

Wes was great! Very reasonably priced and got the work done quickly and efficienrly. Every day at the end of the day, he also left the work site clean so we could live in our home without much inconvenience.

I hired Wes to help install a backsplash in my kitchen and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. He is nothing short of a perfectionist and takes a huge amount of pride in his work. If another project pops up I won't hesitate to hire him again. A few highlights of my experience with Wes: * He was courteous, humorous and knowledgeable when he arrived to provide an estimate. I was impressed enough with how insightful and thorough he was to hire him almost immediately after I got his quote. * His quote was extremely competitive. Especially considering the sheer amount of time and labour it takes planning around things like wavy/warped walls in an older house and meticulously cutting each sheet of tile around things like plugs. * The work Wes completed was amazing and it comes down to his understanding of what looks good and what doesn't. His experience tackling difficult problems and knowing how to solve them. His exceptionally high attention to detail. I still look at the tiles he installed for me and can't stop thinking about how much thought he put into tile placement to make sure they didn't stop abruptly in odd places. Or the precision of the cuts he made. There are numerous places where he made insanely accurate cuts for notches no bigger than a few centimeters wide. I don't know how he did it but he even installed slivers of tile under a window above my sink for the sake of being the perfectionist that he is. The pictures don't really do a good job of showing how much his work brightened up my kitchen. But he's made our kitchen look significantly better.

Wes did a great job. He was very responsive and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone and use him again for any other tiling that I needed. In addition to the tiling, he added trim around the edge to finish off the edges.

Wes did an amazing job and we are extremely happy and satisfied with the work he performed! We had an issue with a cracked ceramic shelf located in our shower which required removal. Since the shelf was glued directly onto ceramic tile, there was a chance of damaging the tile during the removal process, so we required someone with extensive knowledge of tiling and patience. We tracked down Wes on Homestars and after reading over the reviews, we reached out to him. Wes was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what needed to be done in order to remove the shelf. We arranged an appointment and he showed up very promptly. Wes carefully worked away at removing the shelf, ensuring not to damage any tile. This was “artwork” that required a steady hand, patience, and knowledge. Wes managed to remove the shelf without causing even a single mark and removed all of the glue. He resealed areas that required it, cleaned the area very well, and left it looking spotless. By the time he was done, you would never have known that there was a cracked ceramic shelf glued in that spot! We have no doubt that if we hired the wrong company for the job, there is a good chance that they would have damaged our tile during the removal process, which would have led to a massively expensive repair job. So, Wes literally saved us! Before he left, he even took the time to help us assess another issue we were having in our home with mold building up on our caulking. We booked him in for that repair work as well. Wes is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell that his specialty is bathroom renovations. Actually, we’re lucky that he took on what are probably “small” jobs for him! Thank you again Wes!

Wes did a great job on tiling our fireplace. He even suggested and implemented a tricky work around to ensure we could remove the face for maintenance without leaving a big gap. Very happy with the result and will always go to Wes for any tiling project.

Wes did a great job! The tile I selected was so large, only 3 pieces were needed, but that included some very tricky angles and long narrow pieces. He even beveled the edges of the tiles so that the odd angled corners were properly mitered. We will be painting the fireplace soon, once that is done I think it will look great with the new tile. We would definitely hire him again, and plan to for our upcoming kitchen backsplash tiling project.

He recommended removing the tub as it had a crack in it and doing a walk-in shower with large size tiles and a pebble style floor. We are so glad we went with his ideas, it looks amazing!! Wes responded promptly, efficiently gathering the information he needed to offer me a fair quote and realistic timeline and communicated professionally.
