    Snow Storm Clean-up and Pruning

I hired EcoTreeCo to prune a few trees and hedges and clean up the broken tree limbs as a result of the winter storm earlier this year. Andrew and his (work) partner were very punctual (actually arrived before time), respectful, courteous and when it came to being knowledgeable, he surely knew his stuff. I had contacted a lot of companies of which some never bothered to call back. When I called Andrew, he took the time to talk with me and give me a quote on the phone and believe it or not, his quote was spot when he came by and much cheaper than what I had gotten from other companies. They cleaned up 6-7 hedges, an Elm and a Willow which had a lot of broken limbs which were still attached to the tree and not fallen. They were very efficient and in fact saved us a couple of hundred as another company had told me I had to cut down the Elm. Andrew inspected the tree thoroughly and told me that I did not need to bring it down. To top it off, there were a few other limbs that broke off the Willow cause of the storm we got a couple of days ago. I called Andrew to see if he could come back and bring them down. Not only did he come back within the week I called him, but did not charge me anything additional for the job. I must say, a lot of companies out there are out there to make a quick buck off of you, but EcoTree is honest and will only recommend what needs to be done. I highly recommend EcoTree and will definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you for your great service Andrew and Rafael!

Prune trees, cut down a tree

I would recommend Andrew Baughn. He and his partner pruned trees damaged by the Toronto ice storm and cut down a diseased fruit tree. He was polite, efficient, responded to my emails quickly & was able to do the required work shortly after coming out to give an estimate. He cleared everything away and recommended an alternative tree to plant in place of the fruit tree.

    Tree Service

I would highly recommend Andrew and his company, EcoTree, to anyone having trees pruned or cut. He and his partner are very knowledgable with respect to trees and their surroundings. There was no mess left. Also, a pleasure to speak with and the rates were very reasonable. Again, thank you. Look forward to having your company prune my trees again.

Hello Daria! Thank you for the kind review, we had a pleasure working on your property this week. Those Washington Hawthorns aren't the friendliest of trees though ;-). We look forward to seeing you again in the fall for some more up-keep. Take care, -Andrew

    Tree trunk removal

We hired Andrew to cut up a very large trunk of a fallen willow tree in our back yard. It was twenty feet long and five feet in diameter at the thick end. He made special cuts as we requested, producing several willow discs (which we will use for outdoor table tops when they are dry enough). Andrew pointed out that the trunk had several burls, which are sought after by artists and wood carvers and could be sold. He carefully cut out the burls and left them in our care. All in all, Andrew was fast, courteous and professional. We are very happy with his work, and he will be our #1 choice for any additional tree work.

Hey Graham! Thanks for the great review, we had a great time cutting up that monster willow for you! I still have a hard time picturing that trunk floating down the river and landing in your backyard. I hope you get some good use out of those table tops and burls we cut up for you. Here's wishing you many comfortable seats on those willow stumps around a fire this summer. Take care! -Andrew

    Tree service

When the Toronto ice storm damaged some of my trees, I discovered Andrew Baughn of EcoTreeCo in Toronto. I saw him on the news and liked the story of him salvaging the wood from an old fallen tree. I called him, he responded quickly even though it must have been an incredibly busy time for him. He came out, did an assessment and had the job done before the week was done! He even cut me a beautiful circle of wood which I will keep and use in my kitchen as a cheese board. Polite, thoughtful and efficient. Reasonable rates too.

Hello Anne. We always welcome a challenge! Pruning your huge Black Walnut tree in the back yard was no exception. It was a wonderful experience restoring such a huge tree back to its former glory. Thank you, -Andrew
