We split the cost of the job with our neighbours. Emilio and his colleague Ian replaced a rotten wooden retaining wall and fence for us in November 2021. Overall price was within the initial quote so no nasty surprises! Emilio explained things well to us and our neighbours so we knew what the job would entail. He touched base every day with updates. Prompt, courteous and oh so clean and tidy...... Paid attention to detail and very patient with questions that would come up. Would not hesitate to recommend True North Landscaping to anyone or to use again.

We are extremely happy with the outstanding work by the Team at True North Landscaping.  Emilio and Ted are incredibly patient and professional.  They have excellent vision, which we appreciated when pulling additional ideas together for our back yard space.  We highly recommend True North Landscaping.  Their collaboration working with the District to meet all permit requirements (HUP, Electrical, & BLD) was exceptional.

We have a difficult neighbour who had planted a hedge and installed driveway pavers on our property. After repeated attempts to have them removed we hired Emilio to do the work. He was fantastic to work with. Very good natured, hard working and patient. He tolerated a lot of grumpy comments from our neighbour and despite it all even helped her by moving the hedge to a new location for her. He then installed a new pathway for us which looks great. I would hire him again in a heart beat.

We have been renovating our house for the past 20 years and without a shadow of a doubt, True North Landscaping is the ONE SINGLE company who not only did a fantastic job at the quoted price but EXCEEDED our expectations. And we are super picky. Right from the start Emilio was a delight to work with. He was completely reliable and gave us a DETAILED quote - something most other companies don't seem to want to do. We decided to do our project in phases as we had been so disappointed with every single person who has worked on our house prior. Emilio did not disappoint. He dug out a portion of our yard and built a truly beautiful timber retaining wall and 16 x 18' deck, with privacy fence. Emilio was professional but brought so much value to our project with his advice - when we asked him "What would you do if this was your yard?" he provided us with thoughtful advice on our project - which changed our design for the better! I truly cannot say enough about how happy we are with True North. I'm almost afraid to write this glowing review because I want to keep him as a hidden secret :). We will absolutely be having him back again to complete our project. We waited awhile to get him and he was more than worth the wait. Delay your project if you have to to get this amazing company to do your job! (included are before, during and after photos)

EMILIO DID A FIRST RATE JOB! I WOULDN"T HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HIM TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE'S CONSCIENTIOUS TO DETAIL AND A GREAT COMMUNICATOR. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED HOW WELL HE TIDIED UP AT THE END OF THE DAY. HE WILL BE DOING MORE WORK FOR ME IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Emilio and his team were great to work with. They gave us a great cedar deck, driveway expansion, deck and railing replacement on the house, and much more! We're very happy with how it all turned out. They went above and beyond and accommodated all my requests. Thank you!

We had a major renovation - inside and out. I first tried True North Landscaping with a very small job. They performed it on time, on budget and very well. We then had them undertake progressively more complex projects - each time done exceptionally well. Items included: put in a new back lawn, patios (pavers) in multiple locations, reconstruct a deck and build a long stairway that is on a considerable slope. They know what they're doing with all things related to landscaping and are very pleasant to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending True North Landscaping.
