    Post Holes Drill and Set

Amazing experience! I had damage from a storm and needed new posts set. Tony and his crew showed up on time, were polite and professional, and got the job done right. Would definitely recommend! A+

    Fence Posts

Tony and his team were scheduled to come dig and put our fence holes in one day last week. He got delayed on another job and the forecast for the next week was just rain rain rain. He scheduled us for the end of the following week - which in any circumstance I completely understand and wouldn't be persistant on this date. Weather is weather! BUT i have a super high strung dog and a toddler and now (10) 4' deep post holes from the previous posts that we dug out. I couldn't have this in the back yard with the tod and dog, it just isn't safe. I called up Tony and told him my circumstance - he was so quick to agree that it wasn't safe and promised to be done on monday. He prevailed! Great Job Done Well ;) I'd recommend this company to anyone!

    Deck post holes

Great service. They were able to accommodate us last minute for deck post holes. The job was done thoroughly and professionally. I would highly recommend this company. We didn't have the sonotubes when we called for him to come to do it on hand and he was kind enough to pick them up prior to coming to do the job without charging us anything extra but the actual cost of the tubes. Very honest and very helpful

    Great Work!

So happy with the work by Donewell!! We just installed a pool and the last step was to have the backyard fenced in before we could open it, after doing some shopping around we had a friend recommend Donewell Postholes to us and WOW! I couldn't be happier with the service that we received. Tony and his crew understood the tight schedule that we were on and were able to get our posts and fences done faster than I imagined. What impressed me the most though was the quality of the workmanship and the cleanliness of the job, these guys are professionals! Tony was a joy to work with and if you are looking to have fencework done, I recommend you call Donewell Postholes, they are a GREAT company. THANK YOU DONEWELL

    Fence Posts

After my experience with another company who were unwilling to even attempt accurate centre to centre distance. They left when the rain started and later that day I was told that they didn't want the job. Apparently they put the posts where THEY want them or they won't do the job. Measuring locations is too difficult. I heard every excuse but there were no obstacles underground or otherwise. Tony and his crew were a delight. After explaining that we needed accurately spaced posts to allow us to use prefabbed fence panels Tony explained that while sometimes this is impossible that they would do there best. A few hours later the job was done with very little hassle. I will supply some photos later. Tony and crew saved a lot of work for us by properly placing the posts to save cutting panels. Absolute pleasure to deal with. I'll call him shortly to do the work on our deck\patio. I wouldn't call anyone else. Highly recommended!! A+++ Photos to follow eventually

    20 posts, Fence and gate

This company is fantastic!!!!! Not only did they fit our job in they did the job in December when other companies shut down for the season when it was still great weather. They showed up when they said they would show up nice and early in the morning and the got to work immediatly. This is my third new construction house and other companies after they set the post leave all the splash from the cement around the bottom of the posts when its dried on it looks horrible caked on the bottom of the posts. Tony went around and hosed down all the posts its these extra steps that put other companies above the rest..... We are so very happy with the entire job. Another company did 7 niegbours across the street from us, man am I happy we decided not to hire them our fence is 100 times better. I can safely say we have the nicest fence and gate in all of Angus, well that is until someone else out here hires these guys:)))

Fence Posts not complete and falling over

They came out to install about 18 posts. 2 of them were a replacement in our back fence. We had a 16 foot gap and needed 2 posts set in there. They dug about 6 different holes with the machine then told me they couldn't do it - there were too many rocks. I asked "if you can't, who can?" Tony told me to rent an auger and do it myself! I'm a female with no digging or heavy machinery experience... I had someone else came out. They dug in the hole, by hand in a total of 5 minutes - found 1 rock and removed it and set the post. it was unbelievable able how fast they did both posts when Tony and his crew spent half an hour and GAVE UP. it put our whole schedule for getting the fence done off. They also installed chain link fence posts at the same time and wouldn't do 4 of them that were on too much of a slope for their machine. Again the guys I had to come fix the other posts, put those in in 20 minutes. The worst part is the quality of the work he has done. The new fence, between us and the neighbor is swaying. It's been about 4 months now and it still moves all over the place when you push on the post. I don't expect this fence to last very long. They also weren't lined up straight. The 3 at the side of the house aren't straight so it's like a zig zag - who does that?? The whole time he was at my property he complained that it was the rockiest yard he's ever seen. I'm in a subdivision in Barrie, and I saw what came out of the holes. It was nothing. Wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

Thanks for reaching out! We love feedback, whether it be positive or negative. I especially like feedback like this so people can read a review and make their own conclusion as to how truthful they think a review is. After reading your review, it is my conclusion that anyone can write whatever they like without ever being screened or investigated. If this review was screen in my opinion, how can more then one customer take the time out of their busy schedule, write that we do more then what we say we are going to do. In responds to your statement below, there is no way this is possible. I remember everything about this job because there as been only a couple times a year we run into issues that exceeds the quoted price to drill and set a post. Your statement, "They dug about 6 different holes with the machine then told me they couldn't do it - there were too many rocks. I asked "if you can't, who can?" Tony told me to rent an auger and do it myself! I'm a female with no digging or heavy machinery experience... I had someone else came out. They dug in the hole, by hand in a total of 5 minutes - found 1 rock and removed it and set the post. " I dug roughly 7 holes in a span of around 20 ft and each time I tried, it was like someone had place a lot of rocks in that area. After trying for some time I recommended to you that a bobcat or another machine needs to be brought in to dig out the rocks and maybe put a sono tube in and then back fill to set post. The quoted price $32.00 would not be covered all of this work. In all my years of drilling post holes, we ran into this issues just a couple times. I had taken photos of this project while working on their site. The only reason why I took these photos is, I only seen so many large rock in one area that we could not drill and set the post a couple times. Due to the fact that you can not upload any photos to add to a companies response, anyone interested in seeing these photo I had taken of this site, please feel free to contact me. I will gladly show you that, my company does not response to a one rock, and a 5 minutes post setting by telling the customer to get a two man auger and do it herself. Not happening! In response to you next statement, "They also installed chain link fence posts at the same time and wouldn't do 4 of them that were on too much of a slope for their machine," you seem to have left out one very important factory, the work area was full of trees. The four post that you ask me to do, I agree with one issue mention that is there was on a slope. The issue that you fail to mention is, your slope was in a very heavy wooded area. As mention prior to hire my company, my machine needs 42 inches of working area. It was impossible to get to where you wanted me to put the post with my machine. As for the rest of your review my response is this. If anyone out there is looking for the quality and strength of a 6x6 post wooden fence, then you should not use a 4x4 post. A 4x4 post gets an 8 inch hole verses 6x6 post gets a 12 hole. In any long run of a 4x4 post fence, you can stand in the middle, push it with one hand and it will sway back and forth somewhat. A 6x6 post surly that will never happen. The customer who wrote this review paid in full for the services that we provided. Whoever is readying these reviews, please continue to read other reviews. You will clearly see, we do more then what are ask of us in the quoted price. If you like to see more reviews from customers just enter done well post holes in your face book search bar, if you have a face book page. The reviews are reviews that you can contact these people by leaving message's and ask them anything you feel free. I am surly you will get a responds in no time. Thank you kindly for taking the time to write us a review.
