Had a leaky outside cinder block wall and part of the basement experienced some flooding. Restoration 1 came in and did an amazing job of removing damaged drywall and a nailed down sub floor. They then did a great job of dealing with the mold. Later on they recommended a contractor to rebuild the main area of the basement. He also did an excellent job. I intend to have them send this contractor back again in the spring to rebuild the one room remaining.

This was the first time I had to deal with a flooded basement due to cracked pipes, it wasn't a pleasant scene. I was referred to Restoration 1 by a friend and gave them a call. I was quite impressed with the level of professionalism and turn around time. They were pleasant to deal with and made sure all of my concerns were looked after. The job was completed ahead of estimated time and I was very pleased with the pricing, much cheaper than I anticipated. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for help with water damage, you won't be disappointed.

Our washing machine leaked and damaged the ceiling in the kitchen. I called early afternoon and by the evening we were set up with a dehumidifier in the laundry closet and a blower in the kitchen below. to dry everything out. The chaps were friendly and even entertained our 3-year-old who was very interested in what was going on. I couldn't be happier with the service.

I was very impressed with this company. They came in assessed the problem and got to work right away. They were very professional and did a very good job in the renovations. My place looks better now than it did before!! I definitely recommend this company to anyone who's looking to do renovations.

We received professional, timely and high quality services for a flooded basement. They were excellent communicators, and precise workers. Even their sub-contractors had the same high caliber workmanship. I have absolutely no criticism to make, and will definitely recommend them to those who need their services.

Like others, I was extremely happy with the service provided by Restoration 1. The General Manager, Grant, answered the phone on the first ring on a Saturday and arranged to come out immediately to assess and remedy the damage from a flood in my basement. The crew of 4 arrived and within 4 hours had ripped out carpets and drywall that had been contaminated by the flood. They continued with all the remedial work that was required in the circumstances. The flood was caused by the negligence of my contractor who was performing renovations. Grant produced a report and offered to deal directly with the Insurer and the contractor for payment. He is extremely knowledgeable about insurance policies and claims, the benefits of which should not be underestimated. Considering the inevitable anxiety that comes with experiencing major water damage in your home, Grant, from the moment he arrived, appeased my fears and instilled great confidence in his work and expertise. I am very impressed by the service I received from this company -The manager James, was outstanding in his professionalism & getting the job done. James answered the phone & was out in minutes to review the job site, and started work immediately. He recognized the urgency of removing the water and was on site with a competent crew within an hour. The company is extremely responsive to customer needs and goes the extra mile to get the job done. I am posting this as I think both James and his crew should be recognized for their outstanding work. Kudos to Restoration 1. Thanks again!

Restoration 1 was called in to remove mould from our ceiling that resulted from a leaking toilet last year. Prior to calling, I had contacted several other companies who were all more concerned with the condo coporation claim status rather than addressing the mould contamination that was getting increasingly worse. Instead Restoration 1 showed more interest in my immediate needs as a customer and jumped on the project. The work was done right away. He told us about some improvements, and helped us contact the right people to get those done. And he made sure to work with the tenant's schedule, so I didn't have to be there all the time!

While my problem was a relatively small and simple one (broken septic line), Eric was prompt, efficient, and very courteous. His arrival, diagnosis of the problem, and cleanup all happened right away! $565

We called Restoration 1 after plumbers repaired a defective shower control in our en suite bathroom. There was water damage to our bedroom carpet, the bedroom wall and the family room ceiling and floor. They arrived with their equipment to dry up the moisture, submitted their estimate to the insurer without delay and when their estimate was approved, they proceeded to have the contractors complete the work and shampoo the carpets which were soiled due to the water and the repairs. They worked quickly and the work was of the highest quality. The work proceeded according to the schedule and remained within the price quoted. Professional, efficient and thorough are just a few words to describe Restoration 1.
