When I moved into my new place I tried to freshen up the popcorn ceiling by painting them. That was a big mistake because they stared to fall down! After calling around to a couple companys I hired Nick and his crew to come and fix the mess that I had made. They removed the ceiling texture, applied plaster, sanded and painted a little more than 800 sq/ft in two days. I am so impressed by Nick and his team. They were kind, efficient, and hard working. Nick was transparent and up front with all costs and the processes. I would definitely recommend them.

Nick, Peter and the team were very friendly, professional and did a great job on our home. I was contacted the same day I initially contacted them and was provided with some budgetary pricing. Within 2 days I had Peter at my home to look at some challenges with the work, offer some suggestions and fine tune the pricing. He also was very up front about the 2 day process and the dust/mess involved and how they would manage it. We elected to proceed, paid a small deposit and were scheduled in right away. Peter, Nick and the crew were on time, spent significant time covering floors and large/unmovable furniture and then got to work. I was amazed at the efficiency of the crew as they worked. They also brought in an electrician to add led pot lights to some areas, that worked out great as well. At the end of day 2, there was quite a mess but I was well prepared for this based on the initial discussion of the process. By the end of day 2, the ceilings look great, the areas were cleaned up as best as possible and we are very satisfied with the overall service, quality of work and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Smooth Ceilings and Nick, Peter and his team to anyone.

Found Nick on HomeStars and glad I did. He worked quick and efficiently to have my popcorn ceilings removed, patched and painted in two days. We had to adjust the price due to some additional work realized, but Nick was very reasonable and worked with us to get the job done right. To be totally honest with you, I was quite surprised that they were able to refinish my ceiling as they did.The home was quite old, and the stucco ceiling seemed like it wasn't going to come off the ceiling. Nick, Peter and his crew did a fabulous job by making this ceiling look new again. I couldn't believe but then again reading their reviews on Homestars gave me a sense of comfort. Working with Nick, Peter and their team has been a great experience. They were very responsive and had great communication throughout the project, they got us scheduled in almost immediately, and they finished our ceiling upgrade in less time than estimated. This type of project creates a big mess, and they cleaned up everything up before they left. We love the work they did for us and it has definitely made a huge improvement to our home.
