Sefi is a very affable character with lots of stories to share. To his credit, the team arrived on time, worked hard and had already marked off the fence line and where most of the posts would be placed just before I arrived home. The cement they used was done the solid, old fashioned way - i.e. not the cheap stuff. A couple things prevented me from giving them a higher score: 1) I asked that the posts be no further than 8 feet apart as per the wood I had ordered. Unfortunately 3 of the panels were longer than 8 feet - one is longer than 10 feet. Although he made us aware of one instance where the posts could not be closer than 8 feet, the other two were a surprise and so I had to go out and buy an additional batch of wood to accommodate this. A couple other panels seem unusually short but one is behind the shed so I'm not overly fussed. 2) the line on the fence was straight on the east side of the property until the final post which was almost a foot off so we have a couple of creative angles in two corners 3) The posts at the front/west side of the house are very close to the deck. Thankfully I screwed in the boards from the outside otherwise this would have been a huge challenge. There was room for at least an additional foot to push it forward. 4) I asked on the phone as well as in person to have the cement poured about 1 inch above the ground so water would not pool at the base of the posts. Apparently that is not necessary and will out live my time at the house - I gave in too easily on this. As per my rating I would recommend them but with a caveat that one really needs to know exactly what they want and be very specific to ensure it's delivered. This was my very first time building my own fence so I've learned a lot from the entire experience and gained much more confidence too.

Called Stephy to request a quote and right of the bat she was great. She was polite and courteous and she knew her stuff. She as able to explain to me everything that I needed to know (this was my first time dealing with Post holes). After scheduling the appointment, she followed up with me a few times to ensure that the locates were done correctly and she called me the night before to tell me what time to expect Sammy (the person who would be digging the posts). On the day of the service, she followed up again to confirm the approximate time and Sammy then called me 30 mins prior to his arrival. When Sammy got here, he was great. I have him my survey and told him where I wanted the posts to start and end and how far apart I needed them. The crew was great as well, and they got the job done in a very short amount of time. The service they provided was top notch. I will be calling him back again to have them dig my deck footings once I am ready to build my deck and I have already recommend them to all my friends for any of their future projects. I was referred to Sam and his City Wide Post Hole Digging company and I was very glad I was. Sam and his crew were very professional and extremely helpful when I had a number of questions about the job. Sam took the time to walk me through everything that was going to happen and gave me a few options with a few problem spots we had in the yard. I was also impressed on how very careful they were to not cause any major damage to my flowerbeds or lawn. I provided the posts and Sam and his crew dug the hole and set the posts. The posts were in a perfect line and could not believe how fast and proficient they were. I got out my calculator and figured I could not have done cheaper if I had rented a machine and done it myself. Very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend City Wide to anyone who needs posts done and plan to have him come back in the spring of 2018 to do the other side and front of the house.
