I discovered my hot water heater was broken and leaking at 6:00 am this morning and after calling McCance Plumbing and Heating, I had a beautiful brand new water heater installed and working before noon! This company is the most efficient and reliable company I have ever dealt with in all my 69 years! When I called them this morning, Kerry told me shut off the water to prevent any further leakage damage. Dan was here within the hour to assess situation and after that it was a smooth and competent installation. The old broken one and all debris was whisked away without me having to do anything. The cost was the lower than I was expecting due to their exceptional customer service. Thankyou to McCance for turning an unfortunate breakdown into a bright new experience for me today.

They installed my new furnace and hot water tank, which I'd bought from a family member in 2014, who was a wholesaler. Two years later, they felt that they couldn't repair my hot water tank, so they replaced it, ignoring the warranty; despite it being a top-end appliance. Then, in 2023, they charged me $700+ for an igniter on my furnace. A month later, my house was freezing again. When I called them, they refused to come by; saying they'd fixed the problem. I then had a competitor company come by, the same day and they discovered that the settings were a mess, but a simple fix. Recently, I once again had a hot water problem. Again, I called a competitor company and they fixed it the same day. I've owned two homes in the past 35 years and it's only recently that I've had problems like this. They are also very sloppy in their invoicing...as in, they should be listing the part description, cost, and mark-up. You are definitely taking a chance if you hire McCance!!

October 24, 2023, the first snowy day of the season. Our furnace decided not to work. We called McCance Plumbing and Heating hoping to have a technician come to our rescue sometime today. They were very prompt and shuffled their schedule to accommodate us. Daniel was very pleasant and thorough and solved our problem within a very short time. Thanks to the team at McCance, we will certainly call them again.

Daniel came by yesterday. Had to get a part but was back today to install in almost no time. Very friendly & efficient. Not my first time with McCance & will definitely use them again. Thanks Daniel

Our furnace stopped working overnight! I phoned McCance and they sent a person out (Daniel) immediately. Daniel found the problem and was able to fix it with a part he had in his truck! He was very polite and knowledgeable about the problem. I will definitely call McCance again for any plumbing or heating issues.

Had a leak with our water tank and a drip in another part of the house. Both problems were diagnosed quickly and fixed just as quickly. The hot water tank is getting old and he did say the water tank should probably be replaced but he did not push for it and did a quick fix on it instead. The drip on the other side of the house was a major job to fix. But he had all the parts even though it’s old style copper piping.

The hot water tank had no pressure on the hot water side. Kevin came and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. He was extremely polite, explained things in "normal" terms, and was absolutely the best! I would wholeheartedly recommend McCance Plumbing (especially Kevin - he's awesome) for anything!

Replaced two hot water tanks. Excellent service. Arrived promptly. Very polite and efficient - and with a little humour thrown in! Not to mention that they mopped the floor on the way out!

I wish to highly recommend McCance Plumbing and Heating and will be happy to also use their services in the future. While away in March a door had opened = frozen house. McCance's friendly, professional and efficient staff fixed all necessary furnace and plumbing problems expediently and cost-effectively. I am very pleased with McCance. Returned home from Mexican vacation to a cold house (end of March). Googled furnace companies and read the reviews for McCance. Chose them because of the positive reviews. Called their office the next morning and they sent someone right away. Danny quickly found the problem, fixed it, cleaned our furnace as well and noticed our humidifier wasn't working. After showing me the problem, it was a very quick fix (new tubing $11) and we not only had heat, we also had a working humidifier again. He left the area spotless and was finished the job very quickly. Will use McCance for all our heating needs in future.
