Review from Customer of Kstone Quartz Ltd. Review left on 16 Mar 2021Rating: 0 out of 5I bought countertops from the distributor of Kstone. They looked great at the beginning and then we noticed many problems. They stain and scratch so easily and after talking to the distributor about my concerns, I was told that there is nothing they can do and it's my fault for choosing a light colour. I called Kstone directly and left several messages, no response. I am considering replacing all my countertops. Better to pay a little extra and get quality material.Review from Customer of Kstone Quartz Ltd. Customer of Kstone Quartz Ltd.

As a fabricator id like to say that this company is very reasonable in terms of quality. And considering prices, they are great. We use all major brands and all of them have some minor issues. But what's important is that KStone will fix the issues, if they are not a result of misuse of course. We always educate our clients that quartz is strong but not bulletproof. We find that warranty is a big problem because it covers defects, but we are expected to fix all other issues such as physical damage. If there is a real defect in stone, KStone will take care of this, unlike some other manufacturers (even more reputable). As long as they maintain good service and quality, we’ll keep using them.Answer from pro:

Kstone is the company that my kitchen counter top and island is from. Within the first 6 months, there has been 2 chips (one minor and one major). The major chip was caused by regular use in the kitchen where a glass container bumped (i.e. not dropped) into the edge of the quartz counter top. Although it was human error, I was disappointed how weak this quartz product is. Overall, I would not recommend fabricators that use Kstone as a supplier of their material. The 3 different company personnel were nice and generally polite, but in the end they were not willing to back their product and do anything to rectified or take responsible for the chip.Answer from pro:
Hello Gary. Firstly thank you for purchasing Kstone product and we are sorry you had an unsatisfied experience with it. The countertop edge is more sensitive when it comes to chipping, because it has more chance being exposed to physical damage by improper usage. According to your picture, the chipping is more likely caused by something hit very hard on the surface; otherwise it can't be like this because quartz is very tough material. Since the chipping is due to a human error, we are sorry we aren't able to provide the warranty by this case. For more detail of warranty, please check http://kstonequartz.com/warranty/. Thank you.

Absolutely terrible product, ordered more expensive white quartz and it is the furthest thing from durable. Would not recommend. Looking to replace my 1 year old counters within the next year or so. My suggestion - keep saving your money and buy quality.Answer from pro:
